One of the best things about Wuthering Waves being an open-world ARPG is that you can explore this sci-fi world with your friends. You’ve guessed it: Wuthering Waves has a multiplayer co-op system that allows your friends to join and help defeat the echoes.
But, if you are still unaware of how to play this gacha in co-op, then this guide has all the answers.
How To Play Wuthering Waves In Multiplayer
The co-op multiplayer aspect of Wuthering Waves is unlocked after you reach Level 25 in the game. Once you are level 25 or higher, you can add your friends to your in-game friend list and invite them to join your world.
To add your friends, search their account IDs and request a friend. They can request to join your world, or you can invite them after they have accepted the friend request, and you can invite up to two friends to your lobby.
But, there are still some major restrictions when it comes to co-op in Wuthering Waves. Keep in mind that you will not be able to attempt any endgame content on other lobbies, nor will you be able to open chests. All you can do is farm materials, take down echoes, and explore the host’s Solaris-3.

You can also open your world up to strangers and either pick & choose who gets to enter or let anyone and everyone who wants to join in. However, these unknown players could ransack the resources on your map and collect everything for themselves, leaving nothing for you to collect.
So, just make sure to be wary of unknown players who can hamper your gameplay and only add friends who enjoy playing together to have a fun time.
