Helldivers 2 is launching on PS5 and PC on February 8, 2024. But many are wondering if the game will release on Xbox consoles too.
Is Helldivers 2 Coming to Xbox?
Helldivers 2 will not be coming to Xbox consoles at the time of release. Like the first title of the series, Helldivers 2 is a PlayStation-exclusive game. This time around, Arrowhead Studios will be releasing the title on PC at the time of launch. So, if you are a PC player, you can buy the game via Steam.

As the first game never made its way to any Xbox console, it is highly unlikely that Helldivers 2 will ever release on Xbox. Furthermore, the game is being published by PlayStation Studios. Some rare games published by this Sony-owned studio, like Death Stranding, have eventually made their way to Xbox and Game Pass. However, Death Standing was released three years after its original PS release. So, Helldivers 2 on Xbox is still a long shot and a long time away.
The only good news is for PC gamers. While you won’t be able to download the game for free under your PC Game Pass subscription, you can do it on day one via Steam. At least you are saved from the trouble of waiting for a PC port or buying a PS5!
