Palworld, the monster-capturing survival game by Pocket Pair has been garnering a lot of attention amongst survival game lovers. Ever since the game was announced for multiple platforms like Xbox and PlayStation, fans have been curious whether Palworld supports crossplay or cross-platform gameplay.
Does Palworld Have Crossplay or Cross-Platform?
No, Palworld does not have crossplay or cross-platform currently in Early Access. Steam users will have to play with their Steam friends only, and Xbox players will also have to stick to their own console friends to play the game together.
But all hope might not be lost just yet. The developers have shared their thoughts about Palword’s cross-platform gameplay in a recent Discord Q&A. When asked if Palworld would support crossplay, the Palworld devs stated,
“Not at launch, but we are working to make this (crossplay) a possibility as soon as possible!”
That means they are planning to work on the cross-platform aspects of Palworld as soon as they are done dealing with the game’s launch and any issues that may arise post-launch. Palworld is releasing in early access on January 19, 2024, so we just have to wait and see if post-launch game updates include cross-play in the future or not.
