Destiny 2 features weekly challenges, item rotation, dungeons, raids, and much more. With so many things on a weekly rotation basis, players want to know when exactly this all resets. Once you are done with your weekly objectives, there is no point in putting in more effort until the weekly reset happens.
Destiny 2 Weekly Reset Time
The weekly reset in Destiny 2 happens every Tuesday at 10 am PDT. Everything related to weekly resets will change together at this time every week. Here is the weekly reset time for other major timezones:
- EDT: Tuesday 1 pm
- UTC: Tuesday 5 pm
- BST: Tuesday 6 pm
- CEST: Tuesday 7 pm
- GMT: Tuesday 5 pm
There is also a daily reset for a few things like items in vendor shops, vendor bounties, etc. that happens every day at the same time (10 am PDT). Also, remember that Daylight Savings can change the time around for a few hours. Based on where you live, take the Daylight Savings change under consideration.

- All Challenges including events, weekly, vendor, etc.
- Featured Raid and Dungeons (Including rotation of Raid Encounter challenges)
- Vanguard Ops modifiers and playlist challenges
- Nightfall strikes and its weapon rotation
- Crucible challenges
- Weekly clan activity Engram rewards
- Modifiers for certain missions
- Xur’s Exotic and Legendary item shop refresh
- Addition of new Seasonal Challenges for that week
