With Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 raising the bar with its top tier animation, battles sequences, and story arcs, the second instalment is now almost every anime watcher’s interest. But with interest in watching comes a curiosity to explore various aspects about the characters or series. Such is the curiosity to find out what each individual is based on their birth month, zodiac, MBTI, etc.
While almost all the entries in this listicle feature characters that have birthdays in the same month, May is an exception. However, readers would find a pun in the fifth month, even though their birth month has not been stated in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. So, without any further ado, here are the 12 Jujutsu Kaisen characters representing each month of the year.
Note: This article contains spoilers the Jujutsu Kaisen manga.

January – Maki Zenin

Born on January 20, Maki is the older twin of Mai and was born into the prestigious Zenin clan. She is currently one of the second year students at Tokyo Jujutsu High. Since she was born with little curse energy, following the death of her sister, she will unlock the Heavenly Restriction and gain a massive upgrade in terms of physical prowess.
As such, she would single-handedly massacre the entire clan on her own and become a fighter of Toji’ Fushiguro’s calibre.
February – Suguru Geto

Although Suguru Geto wasn’t always an antagonist, Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 will show how he his worldview and perceptions about the jujutsu community will change following the death and witnessing the torture of several people he dearly loved. Following his defeat against Yuta Okkutsu in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, he was killed by Satoru Geto.
However, his corpse was revived later on by Kenjaku and used to carry out his evil plans against the jujutsu sorcerers, which will be seen in the upcoming Shibuya Incident arc of Jujutsu Kaisen. Suguru was born on February 3.
March – Yuji Itadori
— 🐯 Daily yuji (@itadoriyujikun) January 20, 2023
The protagonist of Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuji Itadori is a first year at Tokyo Jujutsu High. He was born on March 20 and was raised by his grandfather, whose words of wisdom and death were influential for him to develop a martyr complex. In Jujutsu Kaisen season 1, he became the host of Ryomen Sukuna, the 1000+ year old King of Curses.
Most of the first season revolved around him trying to acquaint himself with the intricacies of the jujutsu world and trying to manage his powers while hosting Sukuna. The upcoming Shibuya Incident arc will be a tough time for Yuji, who will bear witness to some deaths of sorcerers he loved and undergo major character development.
April – Kasumi Miwa

— Ant (@AntKzmm) April 3, 2023
Born on April 4, the 17-year-old Kasumi Miwa is a second-year student at Kyoto Jujutsu High. A fan of Satoru Gojo, Kasumi suffers from low self-esteem and often calls herself useless for the fear of not being able to live up to her peers’ expectations.
The reason she wants to become a sorcerer is because she wants to make money and support her younger siblings – an aim that reflects her caring and hard-working attitude. Moreover, with the right motivation, Kasumi can go up against the enemies even if it means she has to sacrifice herself.
May – Mei Mei
A grade 1 sorcerer and the senior of Satoru, Suguru, and Shoko, Mei Mei is often seen as calm and relaxed even if the situation is dire. Working as a freelancer for the jujutsu community, Mei Mei is guided by her ability to gain a financial profit. Moreover, she isn’t afraid to do so and shows that she is greedy and can extract money whenever needed.
This was recently seen in Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 when being stuck inside the haunted house for two days with Utahime Iori made her think about the two days worth of money that the higher-ups owe her. Aside from that, Mei Mei is a pragmatic woman who thinks that the value of an individual’s life is proportional to how useful they are to her. Yet, despite her eccentric ideals, she maintains a friendly persona all the time.
June – Noritoshi Kamo
A third-year student at Kyoto Jujutsu High, Noritoshi was born on June 5. An unusual thing about Noritoshi is that he keeps his eyes closed almost all the time, unless the battle situation worsens. As it is now in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, he is the former heir of the Kamo clan. Generally, he maintains a calm and stoic persona, even during battles.
As a prized sorcerer of the Kamo clan, he possesses the inherited curse technique called Blood Manipulation, which lets him use his blood-dipped arrows to attack his enemies fatally. He also has great leadership skills and his cool and level-headedness during the battle often lets him come up with smart plans to take down his targets.
July – Kento Nanami

Kento Nanami was a junior of Satoru, Suguru, and Shoko, but after his graduation, he left the jujutsu community to pursue a career in the corporate world. However, that didn’t work out well for him as he returned four years later to resume his position as a jujutsu sorcerer. He is a grade 1 sorcerer who was born on July 3.
With an air of a wise man, Kento is a kind-hearted man even if he seems reserved and talks less. He often operated outside of the Tokyo campus and briefly mentored Yuji Itadori with his training. While he seems to have a healthy lifestyle, Nanami is just another man who is burdened by day-to-day mundane existence.
August – Nobara Kugisaki
One of the major supporting characters in Jujutsu Kaisen, Nobara was born on August 7. She is also another first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High alongside Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro. Although brash, this Jujutsu Kaisen character is mostly known for her confidence and her ability to not compromise on femininity due to demonstrations of strength on the battlefield.
During missions, she often sports a level-headedness and has been seen taking charge even when her two classmates weren’t able to do so. Besides, she is one of the Jujutsu Kaisen characters who loves to have fun and isn’t afraid to sacrifice herself for the right person in front of an enemy.
September – Aoi Todo

Born on September 23, Aoi is a third-year student at Kyoto Jujutsu High who also happens to be a grade 1 sorcerer. At first glance, Aoi Todo may seem crazy with his particular preference in woman, obsession with J-pop idol Takada, showing off his muscles, and a battle-hungry mindset. Moreover, his catchphrase, “what kind of girls do you like?” is just a way for him to gauge a reaction out of his targets so that he could read them and apply his strategies to take them down effectively.
Aoi is incredibly strong and prefers hand-to-hand combat. While he may seem full of life, he suffers from a strange sort of existentialism where his strength sometimes bores him. And he doesn’t like being bored. As a result, he makes it a point to make his battles worth fighting for.
October – Toge Inumaki
the amount of inumaki toge using curse speech in this episode hhhhg yes thank you pic.twitter.com/gJpC2c0vfP
— fari (@animetical) February 12, 2021
One of the major supporting characters of Jujutsu Kaisen, second-year student Toge Inumaki was born on October 23. Since he possesses the inherited cursed technique of the Inumaki clan, Cursed Speech, he often speaks by mentioning the ingredients of rice ball, or onigiri, so as to protect them from his curses. While it may seem difficult to understand, his peers make an effort to understand him, as noted and practised by Yuta Okkutsu in Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
As such, his limited speech or interactions often give the vibe that he may be distant and aloof, but that’s not the case. Toge is a fun loving individual and participates in pranks, like how he wore Maki’s skirt alongside other male Jujutsu High students only to be reprimanded by Nobara. Aside from this, he is also very insightful and a caring individual who isn’t afraid to risk his life for his friends.
November – Shoko Ieiri
The doctor of Tokyo Jujutsu High and an asset to the sorcerer community, Shoko Ieiri was the classmate of Satoru and Suguru. A very laid-back and nonchalant individual, Shoko doesn’t concern herself in matters where she feels she is not needed. During the Gojo’s Past arc of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, viewers saw a different side of Shoko who was best friends with Satoru and Suguru. She would often poke fun at them and have fun.
As an adult, she exercises a great amount of professionality. So when Satoru brought in Yuji’s corpse, she removed any personal feelings from the situation to conduct an autopsy. Moreover, she doesn’t have much fear for her life, which is why when she was discovered during the turmoil in Shibuya, she assured Masamichi Yaga that she doesn’t need personal protection from him. Shoko Ieiri was born on November 7.
December – Satoru Gojo
The fact that after everything toji did to him and geto gojo still went and took megumi under his wing says a LOT about his character ; no matter how many times you guys wanna make us believe he’s heartless I’ll NEVER believe it pic.twitter.com/egkzjqewWV
— Kae ★ (@SUGURVS) July 20, 2023
While registered as a special grade jujutsu sorcerer, Satoru Gojo likes to refer to himself as the strongest. An unique specimen of his age since Satoru is the first sorcerer in 400 years to be born with both Limitless and Six Eyes – techniques that are exclusive to the Gojo clan only. He currently works as a teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu High to train young sorcerers like Maki Zenin or Megumi Fushiguro. Satoru is a complicated man.
Even though he is fun to be around when in company of his students or colleagues. However, he also shows great nonchalance, just like hearing the death of Kento Nanami, one of his close colleagues, hardly fazed him. He is also immensely unsympathetic towards his enemies or people he dislikes, such as Principal Gakuganji. However, Satoru is highly overconfident and thinks that he can easily take down the strongest threats. This sometimes backfired on him, as when he died once at the hands of Toji’ Fushiguro, whom he was able to defeat later on following his unlocking of Reverse Cursed Technique.
