The Starfield Hero Worshipped trait is one of the more unique ones that you can put on your character.
The character creation of Starfield is definitely one of the more granular aspects of the game. Not only do you have a plethora of options for the traits you want to have on your character, but you also have to keep in mind their effect on future gameplay.
What is the Starfield Hero Worshipped Trait?
Although the Hero Worshipped trait might not be the best if you want to excel in combat and other core gameplay aspects, it takes the cake with its special skill set and unique flavor. The Starfield Hero Worshipped trait gives you access to converse with an “Adoring Fan” who might gift you random stuff upon recruitment. This is a throwback to Bethesda’s 2006 RPG The Elder Scroll IV: Oblivion where the adoring fan made his first appearance.
In Starfield, this adoring fan also has his own traits like Scavenging 1, Concealment 1, and Weight Lifting 2 making him a decent companion for your journeys.
How to Find Starfield Hero Worshipped Adoring Fan?
Once you have selected the Hero Worshipped trait it is highly likely the Adoring Fan will come find you and start up a conversation. But if by some mishap your conversations are interrupted, you can find him in New Atlantis after the “One Small Step” mission or on Mars after “The Old Neighborhood” one.
The adoring fan will approach you the same and strike up a conversation calling you a shining star and completely fanboying over your presence. It is completely your decision to be kind or rude to him as you wish.
Should you recruit the Adoring Fan?
If you want a companion and love random conversations, you should definitely find the adoring fan and recruit him to your squad. Although he might not have the best skills in the game, he is highly entertaining and will unlock tons of new dialogues for you to try in Starfield.
How to Remove Starfield Hero Worshipped Trait?
There is one thing that the adoring fan loves the most, having conversations with you. But all this constant blabbering could get a little annoying. So, if you’re inclined to the idea of removing the Starfield Hero Worshipped trait to get rid of the talkative fan, you just have to talk to him and ask him to leave the crew. This will get rid of both the fan and the trait itself.
A more brutal way is to attack and kill him to get rid of the trait.
If kicking/killing him seems a little harsh, you can also station him as far away from you as possible on the ship, to minimize your interactions.
