Lies of P Gestures or emotes are used not just to express yourself but also in conversations and engagements to unlock secrets in game. Not to mention, finding all the gestures is essential for 100% completion in-game. This is because unlocking all gestures unlocks the Learning about Emotions achievement.
At the beginning of the game, P is assigned only two gestures and the rest need to be found. Through the course of the gameplay, you will need to either look for them or engage with characters to obtain them.

Where to Find Lies of P Gestures
Lies of P emotes are found at multiple places throughout the game. Some gestures will be found only when you are in a particular chapter. Here is the complete list:

| Show Off Clothes | In Chapter 1, engage in dialogue with Antonia when in Hotel Krat. Once done, you will be rewarded with the emote. It is one of the cooler Lies of P Gestures for sure. |
| Remembrance | In Chapter 2 when inside the House on Elysion Boulevard, turn around when you are in front of the Stargazer. Move ahead and cross the space by walking on the plank. Kill the puppets and look for a couch covered with a white cloth in a room with a chandelier. Read the letter on it to claim your Gesture. |
| Stalker’s Promise | In Chapter 3, go to Workshop Union Culvert. You will come across the Survivor. Slay him to claim the Gesture. |
| Fear | In Chapter 3, go to Venigni Works Control Room, talk to Venigni, and you will be awarded with the Fear emote. Use it correctly and it could turn out to be one of the more useful Lies of P Gestures. |
| Swagger | When in Hotel Krat, head over to Venigni and ask him about Pulcinella. Now you will get the Swagger Gesture. |
| Pray | After defeating the Fallen Archbishop in Chapter 4, go to St. Frangelico Cathedral Library. Use a Stargazer to fast travel. After Spawning, turn left and keep true. Now, you will enter a room with two bookshelves placed right after you enter it. Turn left again and obtain the blue glowing object on the ground.
You will obtain Cecile’s Written Confession. Read it in order to obtain the Pray gesture. |
| Taunt | In Chapter 5, you will fight the Eldest of The Black Rabbit Brotherhood, one of the most difficult bosses in the game. Slaying him grants you the Taunt emote to provoke enemies in game. The developers were clearly having fun with these Lies of P Gestures! |
| Clap | After defeating the Black Rabbit Brotherhood, you will unlock the Malum District Town Hall Stargazer. From here, go to the Black Rabbit Brotherhood Hideout.Enter it to find a doorway on the left side. On the table you find the portrait. Obtain it and give it to Geppetto to obtain the Clap Gesture. |
| Sad | On Rosa Isabel Street, you will Find Julian The Gentleman. After activating the second stargazer on the Street, you will find Julian on your right. Talk to him. He will request you to get his wife’s belongings from Rosa Isabelle Street. Do as he says and when talking to him, lie to him to get the Sad Gesture. |
| Respect | In the final boss encounter of The Grand Exhibition, defeat the Champion Victor. After doing so, get the Saintess of Mercy key from Simon Manus.Now, retrace your steps in order to unlock the Reset Room. You will now possess the Respect Gesture. |
| Beg | After defeating Champion Victor, go to Red Fox and Black Cat who will be standing beside a train beside the Station.Exhaust their dialogue and offer them the Gold Coin Fruit to obtain another one of the amusing Lies of P Gestures. |
| Greet | Prerequisite: After defeating the Champion Victor, tell Giangio to craft the Medicine for Antonia and tell Polendina to give the Medicine to Antonia.Now, once you do that AND defeat the puppet-devouring Green Monster of the Swamp, return to Hotel Krat and talk to Antonia.
Now you will get the Greet Gesture. |
| Anger | After defeating the Parade Master, talk to Antonia and you will obtain the Anger Gesture. |
| Happy | In the Arche Abbey Outerwall, you need to find Test Subject 826. Once you talk to him, you will receive the Happy Gesture. |

In Chapter 11, you will have to choose Sophia’s fate and once you do, you will unlock the Entreat Gesture. |
How to Use Lies of P Gestures
Open the menu in Lies of P and go to the Extra Bag. Click on any of the slots, then get to the Gestures tab. Now equip the gesture to any slot and activate it.
