PS5 Cloud Streaming service is now live for PS Plus Premium subscribers residing in select countries within the Europe region. Sony is slowly rolling out the cloud streaming functionality across the globe. Initially, the service was made available in Japan on Oct 17, 2023.
Sony has stated that it’s currently working on upgrading the quality of the cloud streaming infrastructure, aiming to offer an enhanced gameplay experience with 4K 60 FPS support in the coming days.

What Is PS5 Cloud Streaming?
PS5 Cloud Streaming is a service that allows PS Plus Premium subscribers to stream select games available in the PS Plus games catalog. This allows PS5 console owners to play select games without having to download them on their consoles.
It is essential to note that not all the games in this catalog will be available for streaming. Also, Cloud streaming can be used by Premium subscribers to access Game Trials.
Games Currently Supported On PS5 Cloud Streaming
While Sony is planning on making most of the titles available for streaming eventually, the following titles are currently supported for cloud streaming:
- Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
- Gotham Knights
- Horizon: Forbidden West
- Ghost of Tsushima
- Mortal Kombat 11
- Saints Row
Apart from these, free-to-play games, such as Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Genshin Impact are also available through PS5 Cloud Streaming in Europe.
Trials for games available in the PS Plus Premium subscription, such as Hogwarts Legacy, The Calisto Protocol, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, are currently available for streaming. Sony has further elaborated that certain PS5 digital titles owned by the subscribers will also be available for streaming.
How To Access Titles Through PS5 Cloud Streaming
PS Plus Premium subscribers will be able to stream select games in the following ways:
- Select the game through the PS Plus tab on the console’s main menu.
- Select the game through the product page of titles currently in the console’s Game Library.
