One such path to a great many rewards is the Chamber of Starlight. This miscellaneous quest is part of the newly added Legend Lost Sector which has some incredible goodies on offer if you are ready to take down some tough foes while exploring mysterious cave systems.

What Is The Chamber Of Starlight?
The Chamber of Starlight is a secret location near Rheasilvia. This is a cave-like system that is both deep and maze-like. This location was added to Destiny 2 as part of the Forsaken DLC upon launch. The Chamber of Starlight is one of the three Lost Sectors of Dreaming City. This location is also part of the raid rotation called Chimmerian Garrison Ascendant Challenge.

How To Reach The Chamber Of Starlight In Destiny 2
Given the secret nature of the location, finding the Chamber of Starlight can be a tricky affair if you aren’t familiar with the Dreaming City. Despite its size, the city only gets a single landing zone and fast travel waypoint: the Divalian Mist. This means that you’ll have to do some exploring with the Sparrow, to reach the secret Chamber.
After landing follow these steps to get to the Chamber of Starlight from Divalian Mist.
- Head northwest from the Landing Zone in Divalian Mist.
- Head through the narrow path till you come upon a cave atop a cliff.
- Venture into the cave and head out the exit which leads you to Rheasilvia.
- After exiting the cave, stick to the rocks to the right and you’ll reach a chasm next to the bridge.
- Jump down the chasm to reach a banner and wall with the Lost Sector logo.
- Head up the platform above the banner to reach the entrance to the Chamber of Starlight.
How To Complete Chamber Of Starlight In Destiny 2
It goes without saying that this location is crawling with enemies at every corner. In fact, as soon as you enter the Chamber, you are greeted by some Taken Acolytes, an Unstoppable Taken Phalanx, and a strategically poised Overload Taken Goblin. It is recommended you exercise caution as you explore the Chamber of Starlight and conserve as much resource as possible.
The outer area of course is just a forewarning of what you can expect within the Chamber. The enemies inside will get progressively tougher as you explore with more variety. The first level within the Chamber of Starlight is guarded by more Taken Phalanxes and Hobgoblins that can be dealt with by using the many rocks in the area as cover.
After clearing the first area, you’ll head to the Inner Sanctum where you’ll encounter the boss, Insaki, Disciple of Quria. Before you can reach the boss, you’ll have to deal with the countless Taken Thralls in the area.
How To Defeat Insaki, Disciple Of Quria In Chamber Of Starlight
Insaki in his inner sanctum has surrounded himself with countless powerful enemies such as Taken Thralls, Phalanxes, and Hobgoblins. All these enemies will try to swarm you. The Thralls in particular can be menacing. The best course of action is to find higher ground amongst any of the platform structures in the area preferably with some cover and lure out the enemies.
The Phalanxes and Hobgoblins can be dealt with from long range, but you’ll need to kite out the thralls to overcome their advantage in numbers. Once you’ve dealt with all the minions in the area, it is time to defeat Insaki. This boss also likes to use the platforms to its advantage while resorting to ranged attacks. This is why it is prudent that you lure and destroy all other enemies before dealing with Insaki.
Being in Insaki’s direct line of fire is not recommended as it can deal consistent bursts of fire making it difficult to counterattack. You can follow Insaki’s lead and use the platforms to your advantage. Maintaining cover and attacking will help destroy this boss in no time.
Rewards For Completing Chamber Of Starlight In Destiny 2
Once you have defeated Insaki, you can access the treasure chest in the middle of the sanctum. Unlocking this chest will yield random exotic drops including armor and weapons. You could also gain an Enhancement Core.
