Original Story: Rockstar Games is reportedly gearing up to unveil GTA 6 in the coming week, according to Jason Schreier from Bloomberg. In addition, they intend to release the GTA 6 trailer next month to commemorate Rockstar’s 25th anniversary.
Minutes after Jason’s tweet, The Game Awards founder & host Geoff Keighley posted on X that this year’s event would be held on December 7. This makes it highly probable that the GTA 6 trailer may be unveiled at The Game Awards 2023 as it is easily this year’s biggest and most anticipated gaming event.
These developments suggest that GTA 6 might hit the market as early as next year, considering Rockstar’s usual practice of launching major titles within a year of their official announcements.

Last year, a major hack led to the unauthorized release of significant early footage from Grand Theft Auto VI. Rockstar attributed this breach to a “network intrusion” and assured the public that they would reveal the upcoming game at the appropriate time. In a legal proceeding conducted earlier this year in London, two teenagers from the UK were convicted for their involvement in the hack.
While the GTA 6 trailer is still a month away (if the reports are true), rumors suggest the game may take place in a made-up version of Miami and will include two main characters, one male and a first-ever female protagonist.
