Numerous leaks surrounding the upcoming Honkai: Star Rail version 1.1 have surfaced, revealing the inclusion of Silver Wolf and Luocha as the latest five-star units. There has also been significant speculation among fans about the highly anticipated release of Kafka during the version 1.2 update of Star Rail, alongside the arrival of the esteemed Stellaron Hunter Blade.
Users and critics alike gave miHoYo’s most recent RPG, Honkai: Star Rail, positive reviews after its release last month. This sci-fi RPG offers a broad roster of over 20 playable characters, both free and earned through its gacha system. It is a spinoff of HoYoverse’s main title, Honkai Impact 3D.
Even though miHoYo hasn’t made any formal declarations on Honkai: Star Rail’s further content past version 1.0, leaks have already shown off the upcoming characters.
The latest leaked gameplay footage for Honkai: Star Rail has now unveiled the abilities of one of its new four-star characters, Yukong, coming in version 1.1. Prominent HoYoverse leaker Blednaya recently shared a video showcasing animations and combat gameplay for Yukong. In the video, Yukong’s various idle animations reveal her being accompanied by a charming avian companion, utilizing a bow as her weapon of choice.
Notably, Yukong’s Skill demonstrates her ability to bestow both an ATK Boost and a DMG Boost to a selected ally, while her Ultimate exhibits both damaging capabilities and the provision of Crit buffs. Earlier leaks have introduced Yukong as an Imaginary element character belonging to the Harmony Path, indicating her intended role as a valuable support unit within the game.
Although information about Yukong’s specific role in Honkai: Star Rail remains uncertain, leaks concerning her backstory have already hinted at a significant connection to an existing character. Notably, Yukong is said to share distinct fox-like characteristics with the four-star character Tingyun, suggesting a close relationship between the two.
Yukong’s introduction to the game will expand the roster of Imaginary element characters in Honkai: Star Rail, currently consisting of only Welt as the playable character. Additionally, there are strong indications that the upcoming version 1.1 will introduce the five-star character Luocha as another member of the Imaginary element.
A significant leak originating from Honkai: Star Rail in late April disclosed the introduction of more than 10 characters in upcoming updates. Notably, this leak showcases mostly different characters compared to the previously mentioned character leaks, presenting a fresh version of the starter character Dan Heng and the highly speculated Fu Xuan.
The launch of Honkai: Star Rail has already achieved remarkable success, and the steady influx of new characters aims to sustain the game’s momentum moving forward.
