Doom The Dark Ages has various collectibles scattered across each map. The map Hebeth in Chapter 2, features many of such collectibles, varying from Secret areas to Gold scattered across locations you may need help accessing! The collectibles in this map are as follows:
- Secrets – 9
- Codex Entries – 1
- Toys – 1
- Skins – 1
- Gold – 250
- Demonic Essence – 1
This guide shows you how to collect every single one of these items and ensure 100% completion of Hebeth in Chapter 2!
#1 Doom The Dark Ages Chapter 2: Secret 1/9
As you enter the weapons facility, after the tutorial, go towards the left to the platform and break the door using the Shield Saw. You will unlock the first secret area there.
#2 Doom The Dark Ages Chapter 2: Secret 2/9 + Imp Stalker
From the entrance of the weapons facility, head straight. The door at the end of the stairs will open for you. Once the doors open, head straight up the stairs and towards the right. You’ll see some boxes. Climb these boxes and drop down to the other side. Doing so will unlock your 2nd secret area, and as you move forward, you can unlock a toy called Imp Stalker at the top of the stairs.
#3 Codex
Open the weapons facility door manually, head straight and drop down to an area where you see a door after a short set of stairs in the place underneath you. Go left from this door and jump over the crates. You’ll see a golden floating parchment, this is the Codex.
#4 75 Gold
Once you’re done defeating the Hell Knights, head to the research lab. First, break the golden crate in the middle of the room. There are also a bunch of gold scattered in the area under you. If you collect it all properly, you will have gotten 75 Gold.
#5 Doom The Dark Ages Chapter 2: Secret 3/9 + 5 Gold
After interacting with the Sentinel Shrine, the door will open in front of you. Take a right, and take a right again till you see the climbable wall. The 3rd secret area and 5 Gold are situated on top of this wall.
#6 Doom The Dark Ages Chapter 2: Secret 4/9 + 5 Gold
Head left, from the door in front of the Sentinel Shrine. Keep moving forward and you’ll see a statue. Towards the right of the statue, go through the hole in the wall and take a left when you meet a crossroads. Break the wall and you’ll find yourself 5 Gold!
#7 16 Gold
You’ll see an electrified corridor, leading downwards on the main story path. Once you drop down you’ll find 16 Gold, in the room with the purple keycard.
#8 Doom The Dark Ages Chapter 2: Secret 5/9 + 5 Gold
As you progress in the story, you’ll get a weapon called the Accelerator. After killing the enemies, move on to the next room and you’ll see a vent to the left side. Break the vent and you’ll find 5 Gold.
#9 8 Gold
When you climb the wall and enter the vent, you’ll see green projectiles being fired from a turret on the left—it’s hard to miss. Parry one of the shots to destroy the turret and reveal the gold.
#10 16 Gold
Head right from the Sentinel Shrine, and there is a secret doorway that is now open. Go under and you’ll find 16 Gold on the top of a small staircase.
#11 5 Gold + 9 Gold + Secret 6/9
You’ll reach an outdoor area where you need to drop down and move past some fire-spewing pipes. Climb the short staircase ahead, then jump up the wall on the left to collect 5 Gold. Turn to your right and you’ll see a breakable wall—throw your shield to destroy it, then jump inside and use the valve to shut off the fire. Head through the now-safe passage to discover a secret area containing 9 Gold.
#12 Doom The Dark Ages Chapter 2: Secret 7/9 + 8 Gold
As the story progresses, once you kill all the enemies, a door on the left will open. Inside the door you’ll find 8 Gold.
#13 Doom The Dark Ages Chapter 2: Secret 8/9 + 50 Gold
After reaching the next Sentinel Shrine, head to the right, and you’ll spot a broken wall. Slip through and follow the hidden path to its end to find the Secret and a chest with 50 gold.
#14 Secret 9/9 + 8 Gold + Weapon Skin Shredder: Nightmare
Make your way up past the Sentinel Shrine and look left to see a bunch of crates. Climb them and climb again into the vent above to grab 3 Gold. Drop through the hole ahead to collect another 5 Gold, then continue along the path and drop down once more to find a weapon skin.
#15 Demonic Essence
You’ll get this collectible after defeating the Demonic Leader, which will result in a gain in maximum health!
