Healing plays a crucial role in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Hornet uses Silk to restore health through binding, but the animation takes time, leaving her open to enemy attacks. The Injector Band is a Blue slot tool that helps solve this problem by making the healing animation faster.
Injector Band Location in Silksong
You get the Injector Band by using a White Key to open up an elevator to a previously inaccessible area in the Coral Chambers region.
Step 1: Getting the White Key

The White Key is found in the Citadel, which becomes accessible in Act Two. Specifically, it’s located in the far right section of the Coral Chambers, in the small town called Enclave.
- If you arrive before cleansing the area, the White Key will be lying on the ground in the town. You can pick it up directly.
- If you’ve already cleansed the area, the key will no longer be on the ground. Instead, you’ll need to complete a side quest.
To trigger this quest, interact with the village board in Enclave. If it doesn’t appear immediately, teleport away and return. The quest you need is called The Wandering Merchant.
After accepting the quest, travel down into the Coral Chambers to meet the wandering merchant. Once you’ve spoken to him, return to Enclave and hand in the quest. This unlocks the wandering merchant as a vendor. He will now sell you the White Key.
Step 2: Using the White Key

With the White Key in hand, head to the bottom right corner of the Coral Chambers. There, you’ll find an elevator that requires the White Key to activate. Use the key to unlock it.
Step 3: Reaching the Injector Band

Ride the elevator down. At the bottom, run left and begin climbing. Watch out for flying enemies and spinning spikes. Once you reach the top, move right and leap across the elevator shaft you just descended. Drop down one more level.
From here, continue running all the way to the right through a long hallway. Jump over enemies along the way until you reach the end. At the far right, climb up onto the platform, then turn left. Continue all the way to the end of this corridor. Here, you will find the Injector Band waiting for you.
Injector Band Overview

The Injector Band is classified as a Blue slot tool in Hollow Knight: Silksong. It can be equipped to your crest just like other tools and charms that Hornet can use. While many tools provide offensive or defensive benefits, this one directly affects how Hornet manages her healing and Silk usage.
When equipped, the Injector Band increases the speed of binding. Binding is Hornet’s main healing mechanic, where she uses Silk to repair herself mid-combat.
The tool is described in the game as a brace of surgical pins from the Whiteward, designed to forcefully insert Silk deep into a bug’s shell. This description highlights its medical and precise nature, tying into both its design and its function.
Because of this effect, players can restore health more quickly while under pressure. Faster binding means less time spent vulnerable to attacks. It can be especially useful in boss fights where even a moment of hesitation can lead to taking damage.
Why the Injector Band Is Useful
Healing in Hollow Knight: Silksong can be risky, as it requires standing still and using Silk. The Injector Band helps reduce that risk. By speeding up the process, Hornet has more opportunities to recover during fast-paced battles. This gives players a better chance of survival in difficult encounters.
The Injector Band’s usefulness depends on your playstyle. Players who often rely on binding for recovery will find it extremely valuable.
On the other hand, if you prefer a more aggressive approach with little focus on healing, it may not be as essential. Still, considering that Hollow Knight: Silksong is much more difficult than its predecessor, it offers a clear advantage in most situations.
