Alabaster Dawn has hidden quite a lot of puzzles in plain sight with small clues to help you track them down. A bit of exploring, and you will always find something big or small in the RPG world. Exploring the Forked Road in Alabaster Dawn led me to uncover a puzzle tucked away in the small area. Here is where to find the puzzle and solve it, and grab the reward at the end.
Solving the Aether Puzzle at Forked Road in Alabaster Dawn
Requirement: You must complete the Hall of Trials, Floor 1, to get the Aether element. The puzzle requires you to have the Aether element ready to activate the machines.
On the left of Forked Road, right next to the F in Forked Road, you will find an altar-like architecture with three Aether symbols on the ground. You know, something is well hidden in this spot, but you are not going to get it easily. This area is only accessible by breaking the stone wall blocking the route from Forked Road. Obtain the hammer to break the stone wall, defeat two waves of enemies, and you will unlock the architecture spot.
With three Aether symbols on the ground, we will need to hunt for three Aether activation machines around Forked Road.
First Aether Machine
From the Architecture, take the path on the left. Follow the route, and you will find the Aether machine on a platform surrounded by water. Use your ranged weapon to hit it.
Second Aether Machine
Now head to the north of Forked Road, on your route to Reaver’s End. Here you will find four giant circular rocks on both sides of the road. If you look to the right, you will find the Aether machine.
Third Aether Machine
Head to the wooden bridge at the bottom of the Forked Road, right at the end, where the road leads to Lyhamn Center, and turn right. Here, you will have to hit two Aether machines, one that will turn off the energy door. You will find a second Aether machine; this one will activate the Aether point in the architecture. In this spot, you will also find a collectible, so grab it before leaving to get our treasure.
