Fresh details about Mortal Kombat 1 have leaked, as some Redditors have uncovered information about an unreleased gameplay trailer for the upcoming title. According to Raiko Rosario, a Reddit leakster, who seems to have gotten the info from 4chan, the new Mortal Kombat 1 gameplay reveal trailer will show off some of the playable characters from the roster.
Allegedly, the trailer will also give us the first glimpse at Kameo mechanics and introduce a returning character – Reptile – that hasn’t been made official as of yet. According to the leakers, this gameplay trailer will feature some glimpses from the game’s story mode as well as some new arenas.

The leakers predict that we will finally get some idea about how the new Kameo mechanics are going to work. Kameo Characters anticipated to be shown off in gameplay trailer include:

- Sub-Zero

- Erron Black
The gameplay trailer is also expected to showcase some of the new fatalities in Mortal Kombat 1 for Johnny Cage, Sub-Zero, Mileena, Scorpion, and Kung Lao.
Mortal Kombat 1 rumored to get new dash mechanics
There are also some predictions about new gameplay mechanics that will be featured in the upcoming game, such as new dash mechanics that will allow for a faster gameplay than the last title, Mortal Kombat 11.
The leakers also predict the return of defensive as well as offensive meters, and introduction of a brand new third meter for special moves, rebranded simply as Lethals. These special moves, according to leakers, will not be tied to player’s health but will be achieved through different parameters.
Apart from this, the trailer might include the character customization mechanisms and showcase how different skins and abilities might be applied in the game. Leakers suspect that we will also get to see the intros and outros for the revealed eight characters. They have also anticipated that NetherRealm will end the presentation with reveal of a fan-favorite returning character, Reptile.
We recommend fans to take this leak with a pinch of salt as, even though it looks and feels authentic, it may not necessarily be accurate. The leakers haven’t shed any light on how they got their hands on the trailer or when NetherRealm is supposed to release.
