Mountain Unveiled is a Jianghu Legacy Quest in Where Winds Meet 2.0, where you need to forge a path for Feng Jisheng. This quest is relatively short, but can still get tricky in some moments. One of the harder parts will actually be trying to start it. Unlike other quests, this quest directly starts as a result of doing a Main Story Mission. In this guide, I will show you how to start and finish this quest.
How To Start Mountain Unveiled Quest in Where Winds Meet 2.0

This quest takes place after the culmination of Chapter 4 of the Haven Astray story quest. Feng Jisheng will be injured from your landing in Gasping Cliff, and once you heal him, this quest will immediately start.
Your immediate task is to just follow Feng Jisheng, which is easy enough. After walking a certain distance, he will stop and tell you to insert a disciple token to open the wall. Proceed inside to start the main part of this quest.
How To Forge a Path For Feng Jisheng in Mountain Unveiled Quest

Inside the cave, you will need to use Celestial Seize to grab chain hooks and form bridges with planks. Once two chains are connected towards the same side, you can use the planks in your inventory to construct a bridge and cross the gap. The first one acts as a tutorial, and is the easiest to finish, as seen above.
Look towards the right side, and you will notice another bridge. One chain will already be linked, indicating the path forward. The second one can be connected using Celestial Seize.

Afterwards, you can cross the new bridge to trigger a mechanized crossbow, which automatically shoots at you after periodic intervals. The simplest way to disable it is to grab an explosive barrel from the left side, and toss it at the machine (shown above). After this is done, use Celestial Seize to safely grab both chains and form your next bridge.
Reaching The Top

If you reach this step, then wait for a second or two. A dialogue conversation should trigger between your character and Feng Jisheng, who will point out the lever in the center of the platform. Interact with this lever, and spin it around, so that the platforms near you get raised higher, allowing you to reach the top.

Let Feng Jisheng take your place, allowing you to explore these new platforms freely. Go diagonally from this platform, as shown above, by doing a tightrope on top of a chain. This will also lead you to a new pile of planks, allowing you to bridge further in case you ran out of them till now.

Now, turn to the right side and bridge upwards, for two levels. You are now almost to the top. However, you need to first make a path for Feng Jisheng, who has been holding the lever in place all this time. Bridge to the right, and look towards the center. From here, you can connect the the chains down the Feng’s level, making the bridge, and letting him cross upwards (shown below).

Now, you are almost at the end. Take the explosive barrel next to you and toss it at the rock pile marked above. This will reveal the final set of chains you need to link. Construct the final bridge and you can reach the top.

Help Feng Jisheng in Where Winds Meet 2.0

Unfortunately, Feng Jisheng will collapse right after reaching the top floor. From here, you have to carry him forward. However, you immediately get ambushed by a Golden Colossus, which can take quite some time to defeat.
Defeating it will start the final cutscene of the quest, and subsequently end it as well. You will get the following rewards for finishing this quest:
- Echo Jade x38
- Lingering Melody x1
- Soaring High Tome x1
- Mystic Insight Pill x1
- Medicinal Tales x1
- Heron – Wooden Egret Hairpin x1
- Hidden Mountain Exploration
- Coins
- Character EXP
The 2.0 update also brings you a couple of bosses, and you wouldn’t want to miss out on the fight with the Ironheart Centipede. Finding this boss is not the easiest thing, though, so do bookmark our guides page if you need help.
