Roblox turns 20 this year, and The Hunt: Roblox 20 is the platform’s biggest edition yet of its recurring Hunt series. Running September 17 through September 28, 2026, it sends players through two decades of Roblox history across dozens of games, all in exchange for free anniversary avatar items. Here’s exactly how it works.
How to Get the Free Items in The Hunt: Roblox 20
To get the 20 free items in The Hunt: Roblox 20, you have to first finish their respective quests. These quests will give you the badges for the respective quests and the items that are tied to them as well. To start each quest, you have to interact with the Glass Cube, which is located in The Hunt: Roblox 20 hub.
Crossroads Tower
This quest teleports you to 2006. In here, you have to get three kills. You can do that using any weapon you get inside the world. Once you have done that, come out to the hub and claim your prize.
Duel of the Heights
This one takes you back to 2007. Inside this world, you have to grab four different swords scattered around the area. After doing that, you can claim the item from the hub.
Brick Blast Jet Pack
This next one takes you to 2008, inside Rocket Arena, where everyone is shooting rockets. Get 5 kills with your rocket launcher. You can also do this by spamming, as it becomes easy. After that, the game hub will have your reward waiting for you.
Crest of the Canyon
Next stop is Chaos Canyon from 2009, where you have to get 4 kills inside the world to get the badge. It is also much easier if done with a weapon, but you can go about it whichever way you like.
Builder Brother’s Balancing Act
This one is a little tricky, as you have to finish a quest in order to get the badge. This 2010 quest asks you to make three pizzas and then deliver them to the customer. Once done, follow the main objective marker and head to the time machine, which will finish the quest. After that, you can claim the item from the hub.
The Disaster Forecaster
2011’s Natural Disaster Survival quest asks you to get three animals or pets on the map. You have to hold on to them and survive a disaster during the quest. Once done, bring them to the top of the tallest tower on the map. Do this three times to finish the quest and receive the item.
Manliest Award
The next item is received by teleporting to 2012’s Base Wars – The Land! In here, you have to win one match to get the badge and the item. However, losing a match is worth 50% of the item, which means you can win one and lose one, or lose two games to get the whole item. Be mindful of the servers you join, because the quest can be a little buggy at times.
Biting BLOXikin
The Apocalypse Rising 2 is the next event in line from 2013. In this Zombie event, you have to finish three quests in order to get the item. The first quest asks you to find a primary weapon, a backpack, and a melee weapon. The second one asks you to kill 5 zombies. The last one asks you to walk 2000 studs on foot and witness a sunrise or a sunset. Once these steps are done, you can claim your reward. You do not have to do these quests in any particular order.
Knife-Dodger’s Bighead
2014 brought us Murder Mystery 2, which you have to play to get the Knife-Dodger’s Bighead free item in the The Hunt: Roblox 20 event. Here, collect 50 coins to finish the quest. If you die, then you have to wait for the round to get finished.
Leather Adventure Backpack
This item can be unlocked by playing Lumber Tycoon 2 from 2015, where you have to chop wood and deliver it to the NPC. This becomes easy if you have a car. Just chop down the trees and get them to the NPC in the shop.
Time Travel Schoolpack
The 2016 Roblox High School quest is a little tricky, where you have to do a bunch of collection quests to unlock the badge and the item. You can do so by dropping into the map and talking to the first NPC, who will ask you to get a book from the library. Head over to the receptionist and talk to them, then go to the Library and talk to the librarian. After you collect the book, get it back to the first NPC and solve the math quest. Then just follow the quest markers to finish the quest and receive your item.
A Bandit’s Bandana
The 2017 Jailbreak event asks you to rescue 5 criminals from the Jail area. You can do that by talking to them and then doing their quests in order to get them out. This will give you the badge.
Build a Boat for a Top Hat
This 2018 quest requires you to bake a cake with a boat inside of a map. You can follow the instructions once you are inside the world, which are pretty straightforward.
The KittyKanka
This item is received through Adopt Me! quest from 2019. Here, you have to get eggs and hatch them three times. You have to purchase the eggs with in-game money.
Hounds of the Zero
2020’s World Zero quest requires you to win a boss fight in the OG Tower in The Hunt: Roblox 20 event. You teleport to the OG world, and it can be done with a party, which is highly recommended.
Willow’s Legacy Hood
This item can be unlocked by playing Piggy! quest from 2021. Escape two maps while playing the horror game, and you can get the badge along with the item.
The Berry Bindle
The Berry Bindle is unlocked through the Berry Avenue RP servers’ quest. Just follow the steps of the quest to unlock the badge and the item.
The Last Deflection
2023’s Blade Ball will unlock the Last Deflection item. You have to kill an NPC three times and collect the tickets he drops. Once done, head to the mission hub area and claim your reward. You can get the badge and the item.
The Runway Sunhat
The Dress to Impress event in the game will get you the items you are looking for. In this 2024 event, just get into the world, dress your avatar to your choices, and play two rounds. You can essentially be AFK here as well in order to do it.
Grown From a Garden
The Grow a Garden quest from 2025 asks you to steal items from another garden and bring them to your own. Be careful while you are doing this, as if you carry too many items, your character will walk slowly and can get caught by the Owl. After bringing the required amount, you can finish the quest and claim your rewards.
