There are a few secret areas strewn around Manhattan in Control Resonant, that give the time and space between frantic combat and mind bending puzzles like the Soda Dispenser one. The Sketch book puzzles, for example, have you scouring for items to be put in specific places, to then have Dylan draw that, linking it to a memory. While exploring The Park, you have a chance to encounter a small picnic area where you can arrange some cat statues and have Dylan sketch them for fun.
This particular area is quite hard to find, so you need to inspect the region closely until you get to this point. In case you are having a hard time, here is how you can find the secret cat picnic area and where you can find the right props to complete the setup.
Cat Picnic Location
Start from the West Incursion Zone checkpoint and work your way past Central towards The Park. From the checkpoint, head right and down the ramp, then go left through the opening. You will find two signs ahead, which point to the right towards Central and The Park.
Go right from here and enter the doorway, then go left and pass through the second doorway. Follow the corridor and exit out the door ahead. After crossing the road, you will find the signboard for The Park on the right, and the arrow pointing left. Follow the arrow’s direction while sticking to your right.
You will find another signboard that prints out a warning about leaving the controlled area. Enter the scenic area to the right of the signboard and look around to find the picnic area.

How to Complete the Cat Picnic Puzzle
There are a few items strewn around the picnic area that you need to pick up and arrange on the picnic sheet.
- Pick up the basket nearby and set it down on the picnic sheet.
- Turn around to find a cat statue nestled on the wall of the tree enclosure.
- There is another cat statue on the bench to your left.
The cats need to be placed behind the plates on the picnic sheet, similar to how the white cat statue is placed. Once done, Dylan will comment that it looks right. If you step back, you will get the option to draw, which will end this secret and add a new sketch to Dylan’s sketchbook. You will also gain +100 Central after this.
Completing all these Sketchbook puzzles will also net you the Work-Life Balance trophy / achievement.
