You don’t need to spend a lot of time fighting bosses and trying to restore order in Control Resonant. You can take some time off and explore Manhattan to find collectibles, draw unusual things that catch your eye, or solve hidden puzzles. If you enjoy digging through abandoned locations, the Urban Fresh Mart is worth investigating.
At first, things might not seem out of the ordinary, until you find two secret notes inside the store that hold a cryptic message. Solving the Urban Fresh puzzle will reveal a secret basement that holds collectibles and a permanent upgrade perk that you definitely need to look into.
Urban Fresh Mart Location
The Urban Fresh Mart is found early in the game, around the West Incursion Zone. This puzzle isn’t too far from the one of the Soda Dispenser Puzzles here, as you can find the mart just east of it. If you are still having a hard time, I suggest checking your map to find the Large Chest icon in the zone.
It is towards the eastern section; you can’t miss it. Once you reach the chest in the game, look a bit to the north to find the mart. I would also recommend using the sidewalk instead of the road, as it is easier to spot the open doorway to the mart this way. Look above the door to find the red Urban Fresh signboard to know you are in the right place.

Solving the Urban Fresh Cash Register Puzzle – Code 1213
Upon entering the empty store, there won’t be anything of importance to find right away. But you could miss two small notes over here. The first note can be found on the cash register table to your left right after you enter the store. Interact with the small yellow sticky note next to the gum machine to read it.
There is another note at the very back of the store. To find it, make your way to the left back corner while facing away from the entrance. Walk towards the wall at the back with a strange drawing on it. On your left will be some writing like Fresh Dell, Hotdogs, and Cold Drinks. Right below the cold drinks writing is where you will find the second note.
After reading both notes, you will get a hint that the soda dispenser in the store doesn’t work, and something about reversing the drink order. With that in mind, make your way to the soda dispenser near the entrance and interact with it. The drink lights on the left side will start to light up. Note down the number of lights, then reverse the order. The puzzle solution is 1213.
Head back to the cash register and input the above code. This will unlock a new door on your left. Go through it and go down the stairs to find the following items:
- Avoid the French Delegation collectible note.
- Hunka Love collectible note.
- Audit Outcome collectible note.
- Steaming Open Envelopes collectible note.
- Health Upgrade Point.
