Just like the first Control, nothing in this game can be claimed to be straightforward; every little thing is shrouded in mystery and secrets. The game leaves it to the player to do their own investigation by reading different logs and taking part in many of the in-game activities to uncover the story of the world of Control Resonant.
While exploring, you are bound to come across an FBC terminal with a voice coming from the other side asking you a set of questions. There are quite a few of these terminals – I came across one during the Welcome to Manhattan quest early on.
While we get the option not to participate in the event, I highly recommend doing this, as it hardly takes any time and unlocks a trophy. In this guide, I will provide the answers to all the questions asked by the FBC Terminal.
All FBC Terminal Questions and Answers

After interacting with the Terminal, you will then be asked to confirm; hit confirm to get to the next section. The terminal will immediately notice the person interacting with it is Dylan Faden, Jesse’s brother. We will not get any answer from the person behind the screen, as they will refer to themselves as a ‘concerned colleague’. Then our secret friend is ready to ask a bunch of questions, but we also get an option to leave the whole questionnaire at any point in the session. Click on Begin to answer the questions:
- Question #1: “We’re told the lockdown was because of the Hiss. Is this true?“
- Answers:
- Yes (Answer)
- No
- I don’t know
If you have played the first game, then you are aware of the Hiss invasion taking over the entire building because of Trench’s meddling with the Slide Projector. After we give the perfect answer, the terminal will give us a chance to Stop Participating and Continue; choose Continue.
- Question #2: “We’ve been told things about Director Faden’s present status. Is she actually still alive?“
- Answers:
- Yes (Answer)
- No
- I don’t know
So far into Control Resonant, it’s pretty obvious Jesse is still alive and trying her best to contact Dylan, so answer Yes to this question. You will again get the option to Stop Participating and Continue; select Continue to move to the next question.
- Question #3: “Essentially all of the FBC’s pre-lockdown leadership has died or disappeared. Has there been a coup?“
- Answers:
- Yes
- No (Answer)
- I don’t know
There was no employee-led coup or revolt of any kind that caused the death and disappearance of any of the leadership in position, so the correct answer would be No.
That’s it; that was the last question, and answering it right will earn you the “Up to the Task – Complete a World Feat.” Trophy or Achievement, along with Aberrant Item, Aberrant Silvers x1, Quiet Echo x1, and Source x200. Visit the Gap to upgrade your weapon with your recently earned materials. If you zoom out on the map, you will see the terminal marker now reads completed rather than tracked.

World Feat
As you might have seen, the word World Feat is attached to the trophy; World Feats are activities found across the game. The terminal we interacted with earlier falls into the World Feat activities. The Up to the Task trophy unlocks after completing a single World Feat activity, and I will highly recommend you take your time clearing more of these World Feats in the game. Clearing more of them will feed into the zone level.
Expanding the zone level higher helps us gain more extra markers to appear on the map. While it might not seem like much, if you are planning to do a complete 100% of Control Resonant by grabbing all the collectibles and secrets, having the markers around will make your hunt easier and less annoying.
