The Apocalypse DLC for Escape Simulator 2 continues the hunt for collectibles with another set of 8 Tokens in each of the maps. Sanctuary, the DLC’s final map after 57th Avenue, Auto Fuel, and Safe House, is a sealed underground facility, and like the other maps, its Tokens are optional but required for full exploration progress and the Token Completionist achievement.
In this guide, I will show you the exact locations of all 8 Tokens in Sanctuary in Escape Simulator 2.
Token 1 – Trash Dispenser
Use the trash dispenser in the main area and keep dispensing trash. The 10th piece of trash that comes out is actually the Token. Keep clicking until you reach the 10th one.
Token 2 – Around the Iris
In the main room, look at the large iris (camera-like structure) surrounded by small spotlights. The Token sits between the small spotlights around the iris.
Token 3 – Upside-Down Box / Crate
In the main room, locate the two boxes/crates in one corner. Flip the box upside down (or open/interact with the crate). The Token is inside.
Token 4 – Stack of Papers (Cabinet Under Stairs)
Progress far enough to open the cabinet under the stairs. Inside, you will find a stack of papers. Interact with / search through the stack; the Token is hidden inside the papers.
Token 5 – Ventilation Above Whiteboard
Open the Administrator door. Once inside the admin office, look up at the ventilation grate above the whiteboard (near the punch-card printer). The Token is inside the vent.
Token 6 – Administration Terminal (Second Solve)
Obtain the Admin Key. Return to the Administration Terminal and solve the symbol/minigame puzzle again. Completing it again unlocks/reveals Token 6.
Token 7 – Below the Second Platform
Progress until you unlock access to the second platform. The Token is located below the second platform, on the right side.
Token 8 – Final Puzzle Area
Continue progressing through the room until you unlock the final puzzle section. The last Token is in this late-game area (visible once the final section opens). Check the immediate surroundings of the final puzzle once it becomes accessible.
All Tokens can be collected in any order once their respective areas are unlocked. Most require normal puzzle progression rather than side-path exploration. Once you have all eight, Sanctuary’s exploration is complete.
