Talismans are easily one of the biggest new systems in Minecraft Dungeons 2. Most of these come from quests. That said, 9 of them are hidden behind secret chests and environmental puzzles that are scattered across the Overworld and the Sift. These can be tricky to find on your first playthrough if you don’t explore enough.
In this list, I will include all 9 secret Talismans and how you can get them.

The 9 secret Talismans that we will be hunting in this guide pack some of the strongest passive bonuses in Minecraft Dungeons 2. These can boost melee or ranged damage and offer further bonuses such as cutting cooldowns, improving mobility, increasing loot drops, and even summoning helpful companions when in need.
If you can equip the right combination of Talismans in the game, it can completely change how a run goes for you. Equip the right ones, and it will help you push through harder difficulties, defeat bosses like the one that appears at the end of the Corruption in the Woods quest, and clear maps faster. Here’s how to acquire each of them, with their locations included:
#1: Thrifty Pendant
- Location: Rainy Plains
The Thrifty Pendant secret Talisman is found in the Rainy Plains location, and the chest is found straight across the body of water. The chest location is the same for all players. You may have to clear out some enemies before you can reach this one. This item scales your damage based on how many emeralds you are carrying, making it a great pick once you have a decent stack.
#2: Emerald of Good Fortune
- Location: The Sift, close to Lullaby Hills
Enter the dungeon and make your way to the bottom where you can see several chests. It will be located in one of the chests. This Talisman increases the chance of earning extra emerald drops in the game, which adds up over longer runs.
#3: Glowstone Flask
- Location: Random generation throughout the Overworld
Clear out enemies in various dungeon sections while looking for slightly off-color walls or a pressure plate. Hit it so it opens, and the hidden chest will appear with the Glowstone Flask secret Talisman inside of it. This one helps you with cutting down your potion cooldown period, which makes it a useful early find.
#4: Ocelot’s Paw
- Location: Found in any random rift in the Overworld
Once inside the rift, do a short puzzle where you have to press a couple of switches or break a wall that makes the chest accessible. Once the chest opens, you can find the Ocelot’s Paw inside of it. Once you equip this Talisman in Minecraft Dungeons 2, your hump attacks will hit noticeably harder.
#5: Soul Chip
- Location: Deep in the Sift dungeons
Progress far enough into the Sift and reach the correct tile. Then you have to solve the short puzzle and open the secret door. The Soul Chip will be yours to take, and it will grant you an increased soul capacity, which is massive if you’re running with soul-based artifacts.
#6: Medallion of Momentum
- Location: Secret area in Humbler Huskland
Start by exploring the side paths, and you will eventually bump into the usual secret chest setup. Once you equip it, it will boost your movement speed after you have been in motion for a few seconds. It helps a lot when you are trying to cover a lot of ground fast while exploring.
#7: Amethyst Lens
- Location: Howling Woods
This one was a little tricky to find for me, as you have to explore a little off the main path inside the dungeon. But you will eventually find the spot with the usual tell after you find a waterfall and go past it. You will end up in front of a wall with an odd wall texture; you can find the chest inside. This Talisman boosts ranged damage, so if you are running a bow build, this one is worth your time.
#8: Lucky Clover
- Location: Frozen Highlands
In here, you have to look for environmental puzzles such as ice switches and hidden paths. Once you do that, clear out nearby enemies. The Lucky Clover can be found inside a hidden chest. It can give you a better chance at extra loot drops and is also one of the better early finds.
#9: Wonderful Wheat (Final Secret Talisman)
- Location: Howling Woods
After you have collected eight of the secret Talismans in Minecraft Dungeons 2, you can access the secret boss fight inside Howling Woods. After you defeat the boss, the game unlocks one final Secret Talisman, called the Wonderful Wheat. This Talisman is special, as it can summon a llama companion for you who will fight alongside you during battles.
