Most of them unlock automatically as you progress through each section of the chapters, with a few of them requiring some specific actions. These include dying to Steak, speedrunning, or triggering certain side events. Furthermore, these badges can be incredibly fun to unlock if you like some goofy horror.

The majority of the 18 badges in He Ate Them (Roblox) are awarded to you by simply completing each major section or “level” inside both Chapters 1 and 2. Many of the badges, however, are tied to optional tasks. To get these, you may have to go the extra mile, such as getting caught, finishing under a time limit, or triggering character-specific moments.

- Clocks Ticking: Beat Chapter 1 in under 8 minutes.

- Mischievous, not really: Flush Steak’s poo after being told not to.
- “Steak And Chill”: Turn the TV on.
- Another Victim…: Get caught by Steak and become his next meal.

Those are all the Chapter 1 badges you can currently get in Roblox’s He Ate Them. While most of them might be acquired naturally by playing, I found Clocks Ticking to be the most challenging one of all. Moreover, Mischievous, not really, was also a tough nut to crack.

- Don’t Mess With Me: Mess with Splink’s car.
- Aww So CUte: Pet Sugar or Fendi once.
- Best Friend: Pet Sugar or Fendi 25 times.
- Victim of a Another.: Get caught by “???” and become its next meal.
- Thank You Pal.: Don’t mess with Splink’s car.
- Lost: Get too scared to explore in your nightmare.
- Chapter 2 Completed: Finish Chapter 2.
- Insane: Witness a lot in your nightmare.
- I’m So Excited: Find and play the SteakFan12 DVD.
- Get Pranked…: Find and play The Prank DVD.
- Sealed: Boop the seal’s nose.
Much like Chapter 1, most of the badges in Chapter 2 can also be acquired by naturally playing the game. That said, badges such as Best Friend, I’m So Excited, and Victim of a Another might take some time for you to figure out at first if you don’t know what’s going on.
The list of badges has been growing since the first Chapter 1 badges arrived back in August 2026. That said, the nightmare and pet badges arrived in late September. This means there could be more badges in the future, especially if there’s a third Chapter on its way, which is unknown at the moment.
