Eternal Ghost Fish is the rarest fish to get your hands on in Steal An Egg. The abysmal spawn rate of the fish makes it very difficult to acquire in the game. The fish in question is indeed special; it also comes with its fishing minigame challenge that you must succeed at to get your hands on the Eternal Ghost Fish.
In this guide, I will show you how to obtain the Eternal Ghost Fish and complete the fishing minigame challenge associated with catching the fish.
Getting the Eternal Ghost Fish In Steal An Egg

The Eternal Ghost Fish is only obtainable by fishing at the spots in the Halloween Dimension. The most difficult aspect about the fish is the 0.1% chance of appearing in the game. Since we are about to go fishing, we will need a fishing rod before heading to the location empty-handed. The fishing rod, which can be obtained by completing the task for Echo, the Blue-glowing dog, in the Corrupted Realm, Graveyard Biome. After completing the quest for Echo, the dog will lead you to the Ghost Fisherman to get your reward, a “Haunted Fishing Rod.“
Travel to the Halloween Dimension and head down any water spot on the map. You will find plenty of water spots in the “Haunted Swamp” region. The Eternal Ghost Fish is not tied to any specific water spot; as long as the spot contains water, you can cast your rod and wait for the fish to take the bait.
There are no items in the game that can speed up the fishing process or make the Eternal Ghost Fish appear in a specific spot on the map. Here, you must rely on the game’s RNG mechanics to get the fish to spawn in the spot. Eternal Ghost Fish also has its own fishing minigame, so be prepared to complete the minigame to acquire the fish.
Completing the Eternal Ghost Fish Minigame

Once you do catch it, the Eternal Ghost Fish will pull you into the water to start the minigame. In the minigame, you must steer to either your left or right (By pressing A or D) to dodge the floating mines on the road, all the while holding on to the rod attached to the fish. The progress bar for fish-catching will be shown at the top of the HUD; underneath the progress bar, you have three red hearts for your HP. Dodge the mines, and look at the progress bar to see how far you need to survive before the minigame ends.
The minigame for the Eternal Ghost Fish acts similarly to the minigame for the Phantom Express Ticket. Once the minigame ends, the fish stops, and your character will grab it underwater. Some people had their luck within 2 hours of fishing, and for others, it has taken them over 5 hours with no results. Long story short, you must wait a while to have a chance to catch the rarest Eternal Ghost Fish.
