The Zora’s Domain is an important location in The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake. Fans of the original will surely remember this iconic location, but might not recall how to get to this place. The story merely tells you to go down the river, without any indicator on the map to help you out. Fortunately, this clue is enough to get you to the domain. I have written down the instructions to get to this place below.
Where To Find Zora’s Domain in Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake
Start from Hyrule Field, at the location shown above. Here, look at the right side of the map, specifically at the path between Kakariko Village and Kokiri Forest.
There will be a river that flows into a cave. Follow this river and head deeper into the cave. You will now emerge into a new area. Follow the river upstream to continue your adventure.
How To Reach Zora’s Domain
You will need at least 1 Bomb if you want to reach this domain. In this area, blow up the rocks blocking your path to proceed. Follow the directions indicated by the image below. If you ever get lost, do not worry; the general direction is to keep following the river upstream (the direction it is coming from).
There will be some enemies in the area, so watch out for them. Either run past them (if you are in a rush) or take your time and slay them; either way works (do watch out for the projectiles which can be tossed by enemies hiding in the water). Eventually, you will make it to the waterfall, where you can play Zelda’s Lullaby to part the waterfall and follow the newly created path.
I have also marked the waterfall’s location on the mini-map in the bottom right corner of the image above. This is the exact location you have to go to. Stand on the pedestal (marked in green below) and play the tune.
The input for the Lullaby is:
- Y
- X
- A
- Y
- X
- A
You will, of course, have to first learn the Lullaby itself. This tune is taught to Link by Impa after you meet Princess Zelda. There are many other tunes in the game, like Saria’s song and Epona’s song. These are all the steps you need to follow to reach Zora’s Domain.
