Wuthering Waves, Kuro Games’ newest ARPG has already made headlines for its similarities to big titles like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail. Much like these popular games, Wuthering Waves is a gacha where you have to roll to get five-star characters in the game.
However, this gacha system needs to be unlocked in Wuthering Waves before you can roll for some of the event banners featured in it. So, if you want the gacha unlocked in your game, here’s what you need to do.
How To Unlock Gacha In Wuthering Waves
To unlock the gacha system in Wuthering Waves you need to complete the quest named “First Resonance” and then complete your talk with Baizhi regarding your physical exams. After your talk and the exams are done, the gacha menu or what the game likes to “Convene” will unlock, and you will be able to access it by pressing F3.
The Convene will have a Novice banner, a few special event banners, and permanent banners featuring exclusive 5-star characters and weapons in the game. All you need to do is roll for that particular banner and wish for the best.

You can get Encore, Jianxin, Lingyang, Calcharo, and Verina from the Novice banner within the first 50 pulls. After that, the banner will disappear from Convene. So, just make sure you have enough Radiant Tides (yellow-colored gacha currency) and Lustrous Tides (blue-colored gacha currency) before rolling.
If you’re out of the mentioned currencies, you can either redeem Wuthering Waves codes to get some free loot or convert 160 Astrite to one Lustrous Tide and pull from a chosen banner. On the other hand, you can also spend real-life money to get more of these currencies for your gacha rolls.
