Arlecchino is the self-proclaimed ‘King of all Riddles’ in Lies of P and can first be encountered at the entrance of the Workshop Union Entrance. His involvement in the game is largely through payphones scattered across Krat City. While the Lies of P Arlecchino riddles are fairly easy to decipher, it is the exploration and Arlecchino’s Story that makes this quest worthwhile. Of course, there are also the rewards.
It is essential to get the Lies of P Arlecchino riddle answers right since they unlock Trinity Keys. The ‘Trinity key’ is just a misleading term, there are indeed five of these keys that unlock five different rooms which grant some unique rewards. Perhaps the word ‘Trinity’ refers to the triangle symbol that seems to be associated with the quest. Finishing the riddles and unlocking the rooms will also let you unlock the ‘End of Lies’ achievement.

Lies of P Arlecchino Riddle 1
You can find the first riddle near the Vengini Works at the Workshop Union Entrance. This is where the Lies of P Arlecchino riddles begin. You can pick up the payphone at the entrance and listen to the Arlecchino invite you to an exclusive, obtrusive, intrusive, transmittal. Lies of P is extensively based on classical literature, and the riddle you get here is an extremely ancient one.
By Morning It walks on feet numbering by Four
At Mid Day just Two, no less no more
It walks on Three feet When the Evening arrives
And if you solve this then I’ll know you’re alive
If you know your Greek mythology, you can easily decipher this popular riddle once posed to Oedipus by the Sphinx which has been adapted in countless literary works as well in visual media. The answer of course is human.
Lies of P Arlecchino Riddle 2
You’ll encounter the payphone with the second riddle in the Malum District town hall. You’ll have to go through a tedious boss fight to get to the town hall. Once you’re in, head to the second level to find the phone. It goes like this:
I stand tall and proud when I’m young and bold.
But I’m short and humble once I’ve gotten old. What am I?
There are actually many answers to this riddle. There are many things that actually fit the description and metaphor. But since this is Belle Époque times, the answer Arlecchino is looking for is Candle.
Lies of P Arlecchino Riddle 3
This riddle has two stages. The first is of course the riddle itself. The second, however, involves solving a mystery that is rather physical. You can find this payphone at the Grand Gallery Exhibition Hall.
Think about this, whatever it takes:
What cannot be used before it breaks?
The answer is an egg. Acquiring the trinity key though requires a little more effort. Arlecchino will guide you to a woman of cold from whom you’ll have to purloin the third trinity key.

Lies of P Arlecchino Riddle 4
This riddle can be found through a payphone at the Abandoned apartments at Krat Central Station. The riddle is an obvious one and is probably the Arlecchino checking if you have been paying attention to the game.
This blue flower has many ways to take root.
But only on one man does it ever bear fruit.
The answer, of course, is the thing that makes everything tick in Krat City – Ergo.
Lies of P Arlecchino Riddle 5
The fifth payphone is found at the Relic of Trismegitus. Upon interacting with it Arlecchino will congratulate you for being the only one to have danced with him so long but intends to end it soon. This riddle is more of a confession and there are no wrong answers.
Is Geppetto’s creation a killer? CONFESS!
While the answer Arlecchino is looking for is a Yes, answering No will earn you a Belle Époque version of ‘Liar! Liar! Pants on Fire’. Either way, he will thank you for making him laugh and reward you with a King of Riddles surprise box.
Meet the King of Riddles in Lies of P
After you’ve solved all the riddles and uncovered the loot in the Trinity rooms, it is time to meet the King of Riddles himself. After you have completed the riddles and acquired the Chosen One Trinity Key, you can unlock a secret room at Venigni Works. Here you’ll encounter the King of Riddles in person/puppet, or whatever he is supposed to be.
As you can make out Arlecchino is not in the best of conditions and clearly, he wants you to accomplish what he cannot from his desolate sanctum. It is here that he offers his final riddle before he ‘retires’.
Now listen closely and heed the King’s speech.
Or the answer to this one will stay out of reach!
Are you a puppet? or a human being? Which one are you?
This is more of a choice you have to make rather than a riddle. The truth of course is Puppet, but you can lie and tell him you are human. Arlecchino commends you for acknowledging the reality and bestows his blessings upon you to continue on your quest. He also narrates his entire story in a manner that at this point will seem very uncharacteristic.
