It’s an exciting time for Call of Duty Fans as we finally got a massive update about all the new changes coming to Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) and Warzone in the Season 4 Reloaded patch. Among all the exciting game modes, weapons, and playlist modifiers that are being added to the game, one thing that caught most gamer’s attention was the addition of a new map.
The devs revealed a lot in the blog post, but we’re not here to dissect everything. What we’ll focus on here are the map changes. Let’s dive in and explore all the new map additions coming to MW3 Season 4 Reloaded.
What Are The Maps Coming To MW3 Season 4 Reloaded?
Below are all the maps coming to MW3 Season 4 Reloaded.
Incline
The very first big change we get for Multiplayer in Call of Duty Season 4 Reloaded is a brand new 6v6 map called Incline. Set in the snowy forefront of Urzikstan, this map is based around a research outpost and transit facility. It’s a narrow, small-sized map with plenty of verticality options to get above and behind your enemies.
At first glance, the map seems pretty similar to the Summit in Black Ops. As we said, it’s a small map. But the buildings spread throughout the map offer plenty of cover when you’re under fire. There’s also a cable car that you can hop onto for a clear view over the lower gantry and snipe out your unprepared foes.
Players must, however, tread carefully as stepping over the cliff’s edge means certain death.
Popov Power Plant: Map changes
Warzone players returning to the Popov Power Plant are in for a surprise! A DNA bomb at the power plant just exploded, forever changing the entire landscape. The map is now filled with toxic sludge and other chemical hazards, making navigation extremely deadly for fans of the battle royale!
But environmental hazards aren’t the only thing that’s new here. The bomb detonation also opens up new pathways in the map surrounding the different points of interest. The massive cooling tower collapsed, and the reactor completely ruptured.
Bitvela
Bit Party is going to be an interesting addition to the game as players fight across a variety of Vortex Variant multiplayer maps. This new Playlist Modifier in Modern Warfare 3 will allow you to visit Bitvela, a pixelated version of the fan-favorite Favela map.
This new map is a faithful recreation of the original down to the smallest detail, including pixelated cars, buildings, and trees.
Das Gross
Players get to return to the hellscape of The Vortex Mosh Pit as the playlist makes a return. This time, Das Gross joins the ranks of Airborne, Satan’s Quarry, Skidgrow, Sporeyard, and Tetanus.
Das Gross is a nightmarish map where Lovecraftian aliens have taken over the buildings in the city. Tendrils are reaching out walls, blood drips from the ceiling, and an ominous planet looms above the clouds in this horrific reimagining of Das Haus.
G3T_H1GH3R
The retro-futuristic Playlist Synthwave Sun also makes a return on the Call of Duty Season 4 Reloaded update, and players get to explore the voidscape once more. With it comes the completely new G3T_H1GH3R map. It’s a bigger, longer variant of the original G3T_H1GH map.
Promising to put your parkour skills to the test, the map is full of secrets and collectibles that you’ll come across as you ascend through the challenging yet entertaining map. Be careful, though; there are plenty of traps. But at the end of your efforts, you’ll get three new Weapon Camos as your reward!
