Weapon Mods in Fortnite are essentially attachments that you can apply to a weapon to improve its performance, similar to how it works in Call of Duty. These Weapon Mods can come pre-attached to the weapons you pick up from loot but you can also individually apply attachments to each of the four attachment slots available in moddable weapons or even switch out the pre-attached ones.

List Of All Weapon Mods In Fortnite
The rarity of a weapon in Fortnite determines how many pre-attached Weapon Mods will be in a weapon. There can be any Weapon Mods in any of the four slots.
Uncommon (Grey) has none, Common (Green) has one, Rare (Blue) has two, Epic (Purple) has three, and Legendary (Orange) has all four.
Here is a list of all the attachments based on their respective slots:
Optic
- Red Eye Sight: 1.15x Scoped view.
- Holo-13 Optic: 1.3x Scoped view.
- P2X Optic: 2x Scoped view.
- Sniper Scope: 4x Scoped view.
Magazine
- Drum Mag: Increases magazine capacity.
- Speed Mag: Increases reload speed.
Underbarrel
- Angled Foregrip: Reduces time to ADS.
- Vertical Foregrip: Improves ADS recoil and spread.
- Laser: Increases hip-fire accuracy.
Barrel
- Muzzle Brake: Reduces Recoil.
- Suppressor: Reduces muzzle flash and dampens audio.
Keep in mind that not all Weapon Mods can be attached to all weapons. Certain weapons like the Frenzy Shotgun cannot be equipped with Weapon Mods like the P2X Optic or the Sniper Scope which makes sense since it is a close-range weapon.

How To Add Or Switch Weapon Mods
To add or switch out pre-attached Weapon mods in Fortnite Chapter 5, you will need to find a Weapon Mod Bench. These can mainly be found at all the AI boss locations where you will have to fight and kill the AI boss enemies like Montague, Peter Griffin, Valeria, etc, and get their Society Medallion which gives you shield regeneration.
But, these Socety Medallions also unlock the vault in the same location as the boss which will have the Weapon Mod Bench inside. Using this bench, you will be able to add or switch Weapon Mods to any moddable weapon by spending Gold Bars.
