On reaching the Pilgrim’s Zone in Beast of Reincarnation, you’ll be presented with the Origin of the Ringing Quest. On your way north, you’ll come across a cave, and upon entering, you’ll find a large room containing a puzzle at the center. If you’re a seasoned ARPG fan like me, you’ll instantly realise it’s a puzzle.
While the puzzle looks complex at first glance, it’s rather simple if you find the solution order. Thus, in this guide, I’ll share with you how to solve the cave puzzle and continue on your journey in Beast of Reincarnation.
Completing the Origin of the Ringing Puzzle

Origin of the Ringing Quest requires you to solve a puzzle inside a cave with a large statue; at its center are multiple braziers. On closer inspection, you’ll notice that three unlit braziers bear symbols depicting the Sun, Moon, and Earth. You’ll need to light them in the proper order to unlock the bell hanging atop.
The solution can be found on the left of the bronze statue in a document on the bench. The document gives the following clue: “Light the celestial bodies in the order they were born.” As suggested, you need to light the fire according to the birth order of celestial bodies. This means the order is Sun, Earth, and Moon.
Beast of Reincarnation tests the player’s general knowledge in this section. The logical explanation behind it is that the Sun was born 4.6 billion years ago, and Earth happened 4 billion years ago. After roughly 30 to 100 million years, the Moon was born.

After lighting the braziers in the correct order, you’ll be given a cutscene showing the bell on top. To interact with it, you need to find the elevator, which is present right opposite the large statue. Use the elevator by interacting with it and make your way up.
The rest of the path is linear; simply follow down the path and defeat all the enemies that come your way. After reaching the bell, interact with the wooden log to ring it. That way you’ll be able to unlock the path to the Nushi in that region and take on further enemies and bosses along with your adorable but Blight-infected companion.
