The game, clearly built on the foundations of all that made the Persona and Shin Megami series great, also brings that special something to the table that makes the difference between good and great games.

The game is a sprawling 60-70 hour run set in the kingdom of Euchronia, set in a world with multiple races – some privileged, some looked down upon. The striking opening sequence gets you invested in the goings-on immediately, as the heir to the kingdom is assassinated, and a face-in-the-sky commands a tournament to be held to select the heir. This is where you come in, as a childhood friend of the assassinated prince, as events have you participate in the tournament. How you then build up a team of companions who help you out in your quest is what then plays out in a gripping storyline presented in trademark Atlus visual flourishes.
