As you build your first settlement in Manor Lords, you will soon find yourself with a lack of Regional Wealth to upgrade buildings, add backyard extensions, etc. Your main source of it will likely end up being the export of goods and items. But which items give you the best money for export in Manor Lords?
Most Profitable Exports in Manor Lords
Exporting goods in Manor Lords can be very lucrative when exporting the most valuable items, which are also easy to manufacture in bulk. Here is a list of items that prove to be a great export commodity:
- Planks: For your first export, Planks is a no-brainer. Planks can be manufactured in bulk very easily right at the start of the game, you will just need to build a Logging Camp and the Sawpit to get the constant production of Planks going.
- Iron Slabs: just like Planks, Iron Ore can be easily mined and turned into Iron Slabs. After you start mining Iron Ore via the Mining Pit, you just need the Bloomery to smelt it into slabs, but keep in mind that the Bloomery requires firewood to function. This is best when you have a Rich Deposit along with the Underground Mining upgrade that can make the deposit infinite.

- Stone: This is the same as Iron Slabs except it won’t even require another building to refine or smelt it. However, Stone deposits can be quite limited so this is only lucrative if you get a Rich Deposit in your region. It can be one of the best items to export in Manor Lords to accumulate some early-game money.
- Leather: It can seem like there is not much supply of leather due to how rarely you can get Hides from a single Hunting area, but this can be done efficiently if you have multiple Goat shed backyard extensions on your burgage plots that provide a passive income of Hides.
- War bows: By far the easiest to produce compared to how much they sell for, War bows simply require you to have a steady supply of Planks and some Bowery backyard extensions. It is the cheapest item to make that sells at a price that will make your town rich in no time.
You can choose to export all of these items at different times, but you might want to stick to one export at a time as you’re starting out. This lets you get your feet wet and learn more about how the export and trading systems work in Manor Lords.
