Big Walk is a fun puzzle and exploration game you can enjoy with your friends. On my way, walking and talking, I came across a weird sign saying “4166, 1899” and quickly knew it was a puzzle. Since it’s an early game puzzle, it’s likely you will or have come across it.
As complex as the game seems, this puzzle is rather easy. The only difficult part is how you communicate with your teammates. Since I’ve solved the puzzle already, I’ll guide you to do the same.
Solving the 4166, 1899 puzzle in Big Walk

Before you proceed with this puzzle, it’s best that you complete the Red Tower puzzle first, as it gives you a map. Simply head to the big red tower at the top of the map and grab the key.
After grabbing the key, you need to make your way down following the pathway blocks with the key color. You’ll come across a large area with red flooring and a blue tunnel. Head inside, and you’ll find a large map room with 3D blocks.

While the large map shows you all the key locations in the game, it isn’t the most important thing. If you explore across the room, you’ll find a folded map kept on a table; this item is crucial for the 4166, 1899 puzzle.
The first thing to notice about the 4166, 1899 puzzle is the numbers themselves. While they seem like a math question, it’s actually precise coordinates. If you open up your map, simply intersect the points. However, the map has two-digit numbers, so you need to do some guesswork (I’ve marked the location below).

If you notice the numbers vertically increase while going downwards, and horizontally, the numbers increase from left to right. So, to find the intersection between 42 and 19, then slightly move to the northwest. On your map, you’ll find two stones; that’s where you want to be.
Now keep one of your buddies at the puzzle itself, and you’ll go exploring. Once you’ve moved past railway lines and ski lifts, you’ll come across an area with stones. On one of the stones, you’ll find a button. Now, you’ll have to hold that button continuously.

Coordinate back with your teammate using the in-game flare gun or communication device of your choice. I personally used the flare gun because that’s what I had on me, and I let my teammate know earlier on what it would mean. On your teammate’s end, a box will open up, and they can grab it. In that way, you’ll be able to complete the puzzle.
