Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is Sandfall Interactive’s take on a semi-linear, turn-based, action adventure RPG. The game has a surprisingly vast amount of side activities and collectibles, some of which boost the stats of your characters. In this article, we will go over the parkour course that is found on one of the Gestral Beaches.
How To Complete The Parkour Course
You need to navigate through each obstacle and get to the other end of the beach to complete this course. To begin, talk with the tall Gestral that can be seen immediately as you teleport to the beach. They tell you that a friend on the other side crafts excellent swimsuits, and they desperately need one. However, the path is a parkour course, and they are training hard to cross it.

When offered help, the Gestral shrugs it off, even stating that it’s impossible for humans to cross it. They also mention that if somehow the player was to get to the other side, their friend will have a great reward waiting with him. Go across them towards to ocean to start the course.

The beginning of the course presents slim, wooden logs. Since the run is not timed, take your time to make precise jumps. Switch to Maelle and start walking on the logs, taking great care not to slide down. There are some sharp turns and slopes in this section, but it should still be easy enough to get through.

The next section with giant circular platforms is tricky. These platforms have thick columns embedded in it, that are run by a rotating mechanism. The hard part comes when you have to enter and exit this ‘jail’, since the game clearly doesn’t have the most optimized platforming. It might also be the reason why this course seems easy at first glance, but tedious while executing.

Once you have crossed through this part, the rest is relatively straightforward, with just a few jumps across wooden platforms. The only nuisance here is a moving platform, where you have to time your jump. Once you are on the moving platform, jump ahead onto a circular platform, and proceed towards the tall Gestral’s friend.

You can’t miss the other Gestral — they are the only ones on the pier and they also have a very unique hairstyle that closely resembles the top of a brush. Talk to them and they will express their surprise about a human completing the course. You are now rewarded with a swimsuit designed for a male. However, there is one more reward you can get from the friend.
After receiving the first reward, your character thanks the Gestral in what I am assuming is a very underwhelming way, because the poor fellow quickly picks up on it and asks if the player is disappointed. He offers to give you another swimsuit, but this time in exchange for an answer to his question.
“If I were two years old, at what age would I Gommage?”
The actual answer to it is seventeen. However, it doesn’t matter what option you pick, since the Gestral doesn’t know the answer itself. No matter what option you choose, you get a second swimsuit and this time it’s for the ladies. He also tells you about more swimsuit makers on other beaches, hinting towards several different outfit choices.

Open up your inventory and go under the “Wardrobe” tab to view your newly acquired swimsuit. You can also visit the tall Gestral later to show off your new outfit. It is important to note that the item does not offer any stats, and is just a cosmetic addition.
