Moreover, I kept wondering how on earth one can reach it. Fortunately, the route is tied to mandatory story progress, so you won’t miss the tools you need. How to Get to the Basketball Court Large Resource Crate in Control Resonant
To get the Large Resource Crate under the Basketball Hoop in Control Resonant, you must complete the Power Lines quest, which unlocks after finishing Evacuation Procedures. This will lead you to reroute power to Factory Station, Ocean Station, and East Park Station. After the three stations are powered, the Vanished Station will open for you, which is located directly beneath the basketball court.
After that, you simply have to transfer energy to the block outside the nearby store, walk in, and you will be able to claim the Large Resource Crate inside.
Complete Procedure for Reaching the Basketball Court Crate in Control Resonant
Finish Evacuation Procedures: This is a main-story objective that is required to unlock the Power Lines quest that follows. Without completing this, you won’t be able to progress further.
Begin the Power Lines quest: Open your quest log and follow the new Power Lines quest marker on your map and screen. In this quest, you will have to reroute power through three specific stations:
- Factory Station
- Ocean Station
- East Park Station
Reroute each station: At every station, you can find devices that will need to be placed into the correct boxes. Then you have to calibrate them on the machine.
Do this for all three stations. The process is the same each time: place the device, calibrate, and confirm the station reorients.
Open the Vanished Station: This is where the quest becomes interesting. After the third station is online, the Vanished Station becomes accessible to you. This is the underground area that sits perfectly beneath the basketball court and the hoop you can see on the surface map.

Power the final door: Once you are inside the Vanished Station area, look for the energy block, which is outside the storefront. Transfer energy to it using the same charge mechanic you have used before. The door will open, and you can see the Large Resource Crate waiting right inside.
Both Evacuation Procedures and Power Lines are combat-heavy quests, so come prepared. In the first quest, you will be fighting multiple waves of Hiss, which include healing Hiss Clusters, Transporters, Heavies, and Distorted enemies.
For the second quest, each subway entrance is blocked by waves of Hiss that you must clear out before going in. In the Vanished Station area, the game will spawn Mold enemies, including armored Scrappers and also a Mold mini-boss.
What Do You Get From the Large Resource Crate Under the Basketball Hoop
The crate itself contains a permanent upgrade point for Dylan, which can give him either Health or Power, depending on the specific crate. Grab it, and the map marker will update once the game has registered the pickup.
