The Crimson Desert 1.13 update is finally here with some significant additions to the game. The update not only introduces some much-needed fixes but also adds a bunch of new pieces of equipment. And yes, this means players will get to see some new and fancy armor sets for Damian, Kliff, Oongka, and even for bosses. But of course, finding the new armor sets isn’t exactly a piece of cake. But don’t fret because I am here to help you find them all.
All New Armor Sets and Helms in Patch 1.13

The Crimson Desert 1.13 update has introduced a heck of a lot of equipment, which includes complete armor sets, helms, and, of course, the Boss armor sets. So, I’ll go through each category, starting with the Helms.
Crimson Desert 1.13 Helms
The latest patch has given the players about two individual helms:
| Bobfett Plate Helm | You can find the Bobfett Helmet at the Demeniss Helm shop at the Stronghold Forge. Just head straight to the merchant, who’ll sell you the helmet. |
| Besnet Plate Helmet | You can purchase the Besnet Plate Helmet from Drasso, who runs his shop at Burhum, to the west of Tashkalp. However, you may need to complete the Maze of Burhum challenge to purchase this helm. |
General Armor Sets
The latest update has truly surprised players by giving them a total of 13 General armor pieces for Kliff and Oongka:
- Devan Armor
- Mardain Armor
- Valnos Armor
- Huskall
- Grave Robbers
- Vildyne
- BlackSmiths Leather Armor
- Martial Artist Garb
- Besnet Armor
- Oak Barrel Armor
- Lonely Bomb Armor
- Stein Leather Armor
- Red Riders Armor Set
Devan/Mardain/Valnos Armor Sets

Getting the Devan, Mardain, and Valnos armor sets is pretty straightforward. You can purchase all three armor sets from the Greymane Camp’s Contribution Shop. Once you have enough points, just go ahead and buy the armor sets.
Huskall Armor Set

Getting the Huskall Leather armor is fairly easy. Just head straight to Temir at the Calphade Equipment Shop, which is North of Hernand. Once you find Temir, simply interact with him to purchase the armor.
Grave Robber’s Leather Armor

You can get the Grave Robbers armor directly from the Back Alley shop in Pailune City. Just find Randolph at his shop to purchase the armor set.
Vildyne Leather Armor

To get the Vildyne armor in Crimson Desert, you’ll have to complete the “Sword of Trial IV” challenger under “Goyen’s Advice Sword.” For this, you’ll have to head to Hernand and defeat three enemies at once with a one-handed sword by using the Turning Slash.
Blacksmith’s Leather Armor

You can get the BlackSmiths Leather Armor at Greymane Camp without putting in much effort. Just head to Tranan, the Quartermaster, who’ll sell the armor set to you.
Martial Artist Garb

You can get the Martial Artist Grab chest piece by completing the “Steel Grip Against the Chest” challenge under “Goyen’s Advice Training. You can find this challenge near the Pororin Village. The challenge is pretty simple: you’ll just have to defeat three opponents using your wrestling skills.
Besnet Cloth Armor

You can get the Besnet armor by completing the Maze of Burhum challenge. You’ll just have to find the secret path by following the lights and find the hidden artifact. Also, it’s best to use Kliff to complete this challenge. Once you find the artifact, you’ll be rewarded with Besnet Armor.
Oak Barrel Leather Armor

To get the Oak Barrel leather Armor, you’ll have to complete the “Traveler with Oak Barrels” challenge under “White Crow’s Gaze.” The challenge is fairly easy, as it only requires you to meet eight Tavern owners from all the regions. After completing the challenge, you’ll find the armor in Pailune Back Alley Shop.
Lonely Bomb Leather Armor

You can get the Lonely Bomb armor after completing a Crimson Desert Faction quest. The quest you’re looking for is “The Faceless” under the “Lords of the Unclaimed Lands” questline. The Faceles is a batch of five individual quests, and you’ll have to complete all of them:
- Masked Bandits
- The Master of Masks
- The Disaster Befalling Nahab
- The Disaster Befalling Duzhar
- What remains beneath the masks
Once you’ve completed the missions, you’ll find the Lonely Bomb Armor at the Tashkalp Back Alley Shop.
Stein Leather Armor

To get your hands on the Stein Leather armor, you’ll have to complete a Hernand Faction quest under the Requests. You’ll have to find the “A Favor for Hernand” questline and go for the “Path Crossing the River” challenge. As part of this mission, you’ll have to dispatch your comrades to build Rocca’s Hill Slave Camp bridge.
Red Rider’s Plate Armor

You’ll need to acquire two diffetent parts to complete The Red Riders Armor:
| Plate Armor | You can get the Red Riders Plate Armor in Crimson Desert by completing the Maze of Dawnreach challenge in Tashkalp. It might take some time to complete the maze, but it only requires you to find the hidden path within the maze and obtain the artifact. For this, you’ll have to push some buildings using the Force Palm’s 3-hit combos. Eventually, you’ll find the keys you will get the Red Riders Armor at Tashkalp Equipment Shop. |
| Plate Helm | You can get the fancy knight-inspired Red Riders Plate Helm by completing a Demeniss Faction quest. Just scroll down to find the “A Favor for Demeniss” questline and finish the “Horse outside the manor” challenge. You’ll need to kickstart this mission by talking to a noble at Azeniar Manor. Then, dispatch your comrades to build a horse statue at the manor, and once the statue is built, the noble will reward you with the Red Riders Plate Helm. |
All Five Boss Armor Sets In Crimson Desert 1.13 Patch
That’s right, the major highlight of the Crimson Desert 1.13 patch is definitely the five Boss armor sets that players can acquire in the game. The 5 boss armors include:
- Knights of Carnage Armor
- Marial Monk Armor
- Demeniss General Armor Set
- Unyeilding Hero Armor Set
- Ashen Warrior Armor Set
Knights of Carnage Armor

Knights of Carnage is a heavy boss armor set that you can complete by doing different missions. Here’s a complete breakdown of the entire set:
| Plate Armor | You can get the plate armor by completing the main story quest “Ashen Steps” in Chapter VII: Blood Coronation. Basically, you’ll have to beat Gregor, the Halberd of Carnage, to get the armor plate for 2328 Silver. |
| Plate Helm | After you’ve defeated Gregor, you can head to the Demeniss Back Alley Shop to purchase the Knights of Carnage helm for 19.90 Silver. |
| Plate Boots | To get the boots, you’ll have to complete the Dancing Blade, Shining Shield 3 challenge under Goyen’s Advice Rapier and Shield. After you’ve completed this challenge, the boots will be available to purchase at Demeniss Back Alley Shop for 704 silver. |
| Gloves | You can obtain the Knights of Carnage Gloves by completing the Sword of Trials 6 challenge under Goyen’s Advice Sword. Once you’ve completed the mission, you’ll find the Gloves in the Demeniss Back Alley Shop for 816 silver. |
| Cloak | For Cloak, make sure you complete the Harmonious Hooves 3 challenge under Goyen’s Advice Horse before checking out the Demeniss Back Alley Shop. You will have to pay 2328 silver to get your hands on the Cloak. |
Marial Monk Armor

The Marial Monk Armor is also attached to the main story quests, and you’ll need four pieces to complete this outfit.
| Gloves | You can get the Marial Monk Gloves after completing the main-story Path of the Disciple quest in Chapter IX. You’ll find this quest under the Six Statues and the Beast Questline. |
| Boots | Same with Gloves, you can get the Marial Monk Boots after completing the main-story Path of the Disciple quest in Chapter IX. |
| Cloth Garb | Unlike the other items, Cloth Garb isn’t tied to the main quests. Instead, you can get your hands on the Cloth Garb by completing the Steel Grip Against the Chest challenge under Goyen’s Advice Training. |
| Cloth Armor or Robe | Finally, we have the armor, or in this case, a robe, which you can obtain after completing the True Strength quest in Chapter 9. You’ll also find this under the Six Statues and the Beast questline. This time, you’ll have to defeat T’rukan. |
Demeniss General Armor Set

The Demenis General Armor set is divided into two parts:
| Plate Armor | You can get the Demenis General Plate Armor by completing the A Fleeting Dream main quest under the Traitor Questline in Chapter VIII. To complete this quest, you’ll have to defeat Bastier. |
| Plate Cloak | Then, we have the cloak, which you can obtain after completing the Demeniss Faction quest called the Count’s Reward. You’ll find this under the House Elemore. |
Unyielding Hero Armor Set

Unyielding Hero is one of the best armor sets after the Crimson Desert 1.13 update. To complete this boss armor set, you’ll have to obtain a total of five items:
| Plate Armor | Yet again, you’ll have to complete a main story quest to get the plate armor. This time, you have to complete the Chapter 6 main quest, “Traitor,” by defeating Cassius Morten. |
| Plate Helm | Once you’ve defeated Cassius Morten, you can purchase the Helm from the Back Alley Shop in Calphate for about 20 Silver. |
| Plate Boots | For Boots, you’ll have to complete The Vanished Wagon challenge under Master Du’s Dare Above the Law. |
| Plate Gloves | You can get the Gloves after completing the Into the Barrage challenge under Goyen’s Advice Battle questline. |
| Plate Cloak | Finally, we have the Cloak, which you can obtain by finishing the Hunter’s Discipline challenge under White Crow’s Gaze Hunting. |
Ashen Warrior Armor Set

Finally, let’s look at the biggest addition to Crimson Desert with the 1.13 update, which is the ultimate Ashen Warrior Armor Set. Of course, this armor set is also divided into five parts, so here we go:
| Plate Armor | You can get the Ashen Warrior plate armor by defeating Tarandus the Ashen in the Ashen Warrior quest. You’ll find this quest under the Pailune Faction Quests and under the Executioner of Justice questline. |
| Plate Helm | First, make sure you’ve defeated Tarandus the Ashen. Then, you can buy the Helm from the Back Alley Shop outside of Odeck for about 39.64 Silver. |
| Plate Boots | To get the boots, get ready to acquire 100 Caves Knowledge. For that, head out to complete the Caves Exploration Log quest under White Crow’s Gaze Life. Honestly, this is one of those quests that will take you a lot of time to complete. |
| Plate Gloves | You can get the Gloves by completing the On a Storm of Beasts challenge under Goyen’s Advice Training. |
| Plate Cloak | Finally, you have to complete the Tiny Citizens of Grasslands mission under White Crow’s Gaze Life. In this quest, you’ll have to acquire all insect and arthropod knowledge: a total of 76. |
All Damian Sets in Crimson Desert 1.13

Apart from everything we’ve discussed, the Crimson Desert 1.13 patch also comes with a total of eight armor sets for Damian:
- Sermeana Armor
- Rivenheim Armor
- Duskmoon Armor
- Fernoa Armor
- Dark Executioner Leather Armor
Obviously, the new armor sets for Damian are something every player should go for; I know I did for all of them. But along with new ones, existing armor sets like Golden Free Sword Armor and Blinding Arrow’s Armor are now compatible with Damian. If you want to find all the Damian armor sets that arrived with patch 1.13, you can check out our complete guide here.
