Crimson Desert – How To Get the Black Fang Sword

The new Crimson Desert DLC adds some sweet weapons (Lumen Sword) and quests that bring back familiar faces to the game. While some secrets are tied to quests, others rely on player exploration to find. The Black Fang sword is one such item that can only be found through sheer exploration. It’s located in a specific part of the map, with no clues or quests to guide you there.

Players have come across this weapon through sheer luck. In this guide, I will help you find the exact spot on the map to begin your hunt for the Black Fang weapon in Crimson Desert. The weapon has cool stats that make it worth having, and it’s free without going through any quest chain, but expect a long trip to the sword from the land.

Getting the Black Fang Sword Guide In Crimson Desert

You will find the Black Fang sword lying on top of a giant walker in the underwater section in the South Sea. Head to Delesyia and dive right into the South Sea; now you need to go east of the sea to the marked circle on the map, right below the Great Rocky Reef.

Note: Take a Propulsion-Type Breathing Device, as we are about to dive deep into the water to find it. Running out of breath will be a common problem, so taking the breathing device will help you out.

Now dive down to the marked spot, and you will see a giant creature wearing a hat; on top of the hat, you will find the Black Fang Sword lying on it. Swim up to the sword to get the prompt to grab it.

The giant creature does walk, but his movement is very slow, giving us enough time to catch up. The glowing exterior on his body also makes him easier to spot in the pitch darkness of deep water. If it’s not in the marked circle area, I recommend checking the area around it; you can either find it a bit south or north of the marked area. Some had a lack of encountering him in the daytime, while others at night.
