Blast Furnace God Rolls in Destiny 2
Blast Furnace PvP God Roll
Here is the Blast Furnace god roll to get those high-kill PvP games and up your Crucible Rank in Destiny 2:
- Barrel: Arrowhead Break
- Recoil +30, Handling +10
- Magazine: Flared Magwell
- Reload Speed +15, Stability +5
- Perk 1: Zen Moment
- Dealing damage will reduce recoil and flinch over a set amount of time
- Perk 2: Kill Clip
- 25% increased damage for 5 seconds if a reload completes within 3.6 seconds of a weapon kill. Once the buff is applied it can stay active while the weapon is stowed
- Masterwork: Stability
- Stability +10 with full masterwork
While the Blast Furnace cannot two-burst like some of the other pulse rifles, it does feature a higher fire rate which gives it a lot of recoil. For this, use the Arrowhead Break to keep the weapon steady. You can also be vulnerable during your reloads so we also need the Flared Magwell which also gives us some bonus Stability.
To further improve our heavy recoil on the Blast Furnace in Destiny 2, we will use Zen Moment for this PvP god roll which will make the gun laser accurate as long as you are on that killing spree. Kill Clip will be useful for those clutch moments when you are being pushed mid-reload. The Masterwork Stability on top will make sure you are as accurate as possible.
Blast Furnace PvE God Roll
Blast Furnace is a beast when facing real players, but it can also be a strong PvE weapon. Here is the best PvE god roll for the Blast Furnace in Destiny 2:
- Barrel: Arrowhead Break
- Recoil +30, Handling +10
- Magazine: Tactical Mag
- Reload Speed +10, Stability +5, Magazine Size +4
- Perk 1: Kinetic Tremors
- Landing multiple shots on an enemy within 3 seconds of each hit causes 3 damaging shockwaves to emit from the point of activation
- Perk 2: Firefly
- Grants +55 Reload Speed for 6 seconds after a precision kill. Targets also explode causing 104 Solar damage in a 4-meter AoE
- Masterwork: Stability
- Stability +10 with full masterwork
If you have tried using the Blast Furnace in Destiny 2, you know that this one has a lot of recoil. So we need Arrowhead Break to counter that and give it a more accurate feel. Tactical Mags will help with reload speed but it will also give you extra bursts which can come in clutch in some situations. Kinetic Tremors is best for a PvE build to tackle multiple enemies grouped up together.
But our reload speed is still going to be a bit slower, so Firefly as the other perk will not only help with that but will also give you another way to deal with groups of enemies with its Solar AoE damage. Lastly, the Stability Masterwork will give that final push to your accuracy for longer-range engagements.
How to Get Blast Furnace in Destiny 2
You can get Blast Furnace through reward chests for completing successful runs in Onslaught mode in Destiny 2. The higher the difficulty the more chance you have as you will get more reward chests. The chances can also be increased by spending Trophies of Bravery in the Hall of Champions next to Shaxx.
When you are in the Hall of Champions, you can head to the Attunement Terminal and select the Blast Furnace as the weapon to attune. Doing so will increase the drop chance of the Blast Furnace by 50% so make sure you do this before attempting to farm it in Onslaught.
