Destiny 2 The Hellmouth Quest Walkthrough

The Final Shape in Destiny 2 is finally here, and it’s better than everyone expected it to be. In this campaign, you are tasked with helping Micah-10 track down a particular ghost who has been reported missing and whose last location was the Moon. The Hellmouth quest will set you on a trail to track the Ghost and get him back to The Pale Heart, but it isn’t going to be easy.

How to Complete The Hellmouth Quest in Destiny 2

Your first step to completing The Hellmouth quest is going to be the Nightmare Hunt: Fear on the Moon, as this is where the Ghost was last seen, according to Micah-10. You will need to find the Ghost Telemetry during this Hunt, which will pinpoint its location.

Finding Ghost Telemetry

1. Launch the Nightmare Hunt: Fear at the Moon
2. Go through the Hunt up until you reach the point before the boss fight where revives get disabled
3. You will find the Ghost Telemetry on the skull statue right after you go through the closed-door
4. Scan this, and you will now have completed the first step of finding the Lost Ghost Telemetry

Searching for Link

Once you have the Ghost Telemetry, an area will be marked on your map on the Moon for The Hellmouth quest. Proceed to this area of the Moon and follow these steps below:

1. After reaching this area, you will have waypoints that guide you to the location you need to go, this route will take you inside the Temple of Crota which is hidden underneath the surface of the Moon
2. Keep following the route as it takes you deeper through The World Grave and eventually into the Chamber of Night
3. At the end of it, you will reach a room with an Unstoppable Orge. You can choose to ignore this enemy if you want
4. In this last room with the bright yellow light, on the right side you will see what looks like a giant set of rib bones, you will find the missing Ghost Link here on top of one of these bones as shown in the picture below

Restoring the Lost Ghost

The hard part of the quest is now complete. All you need to do now is return back to The Lost City in The Pale Heart and interact with Micah’s Conduit to complete The Hellmouth quest in Destiny 2. This will reward you with a Deepsight Weapon Bundle containing Deepsight versions of The Call and No Hesitation.
