F1 24 Champions Edition vs Standard Edition

Deciding on the F1 24 Champions Edition or the Standard Edition can be hard. Both let you into the exciting world of Formula 1 racing, but the Champions Edition has extra stuff. Here’s a breakdown of what makes them different, and what you should get.

What Comes With The F1 24 Champion’s Edition?

One big boon of the Champion Edition for F1 24 is the ability to start early. The Champions Edition lets you begin racing three days before the game is officially released. You can try out the new season and improve your racing skills before anyone else.

F1 TV Pro Subscription is only available in the US. This special Champions Edition bonus is only for people living in the US and gives you a one-month subscription to F1 TV Pro. Explore the world of F1 with special races, documentaries, replays, and behind-the-scenes content that will boost your love for racing.

You can also get an early look at the 2024 season designs. Can’t wait to see the newest car looks? The Champions Edition allows you to see the 2024 season designs right away. These designs, showing the new looks for cars from Aston Martin, Red Bull Racing, and others, become available in the Time Trial mode of F1 24 as soon as you buy the Champions Edition.

There’s also the Exclusive Early Access Events. These events are just for the Champions Edition and offer new challenges and the chance to unlock valuable rewards that give you an edge when the full game launches.

You can also improve your driver’s look with the VIP Podium Pass, probably part of the Champions Edition. This pass gives access to special customization items or advantages for your driver and car, letting you be noticed on the grid. The Champions Edition also gives you two extra driver pictures to pick from. These famous drivers bring history and personality to your team.

You can also get the F1 World Bumper Pack, a set of in-game stuff that might have different things to change how your car looks. This pack is only in the Champions Edition, and it lets you change your car and show how you like to race.

Both versions include PitCoin, a virtual money used to buy things in the game, like car parts and ways to change how your car and driver look. But the Champions Edition comes with a big increase – 18,000 PitCoin compared to the Standard Edition’s 5,000. This gives you more stuff to make your car and driver look different.

Here’s a quick breakdown:

  • Early Access
  • F1 TV Pro 1-month Subscription (US only)
  • 2024 Season Liveries in F1 23 Time Trial
  • Special Events with Unlockable Rewards (During Early Access Only)
  • VIP Podium Pass
  • 2 New My Team Icons
  • F1 World Bumper Pack
  • 18,000 PitCoin

F1 24 Standard Edition – Is It Worth Upgrading?

We’d say so. The Standard Edition doesn’t have all the extra stuff the Champions Edition has, but for big F1 fans, it’s still a good choice. You get the main game with access to all the 2024 season teams, drivers, and circuits. Also, you get the F1 World Starter Pack, which probably has basic stuff to change how your game looks. And you get 5,000 PitCoin to unlock more ways to change your game.

Here’s a quick breakdown:

  • F1 World Starter Pack
  • 5,000 PitCoin

Should I get the F1 24 Champions Edition or Standard Edition?

Overall, if you’re truly a fan of the series and F1, we’d say get the Championship edition. The choice between the Champions and Standard Editions depends on how much you want to be part of the F1 world and how much you care about customization options. If you’re a big fan who can’t wait to start playing and want special content, the Champions Edition is the best choice.

The early access allows you to try the new season earlier than others, while the F1 TV Pro subscription (for US residents) gives you a month of behind-the-scenes access to the sport you love. The special car designs, events, VIP Podium Pass, My Team Icons, and F1 World Bumper Pack all make the gameplay experience more special and tailored to you.

On the other hand, if you’re a more relaxed player who cares about getting good stuff and can wait for the game to come out, the Standard Edition is a good choice. You’ll still get the main F1 24 experience with all the official teams, drivers, and race tracks. The F1 World Starter Pack and 5,000 PitCoin give you a base for customization, and you can always earn more PitCoin while playing to unlock more options later.
