There is a chest in the Nameless Ruins of Final Fantasy Resonance that is locked behind a riddle solution. If you try to open this chest, it will give you a riddle that involves interacting with three statues in a certain order. The hard part is not solving the riddle, but finding the correct statues in the right order. I will show you the correct path to follow so that you can touch all the statues and open the chest as well.
Locked Chest Location in Nameless Ruins
The Nameless Ruins is a dungeon located south of Mysidia, the Magiapolis. You will enter this dungeon during Chapter 5 of the Main Story. Once you enter the dungeon, a small dialogue will start among the party members. After this is over, a save point will appear right next to you. To the left of this save point, there will be a statue and a chest next to it (as shown in the image above).
Interacting with this chest will give you the following riddle:
O, seekers of treasure, let these writings be your guide to light the statues. First, a broken sword pierced the sky, bringing light. Then, a withered horse was laid to rest, becoming the land. Finally, darkness once sealed was unleashed, cleaving day from night.
The above riddle indicates the order of the statues you need to touch. I have detailed how to get to these statues below:
First Statue (Statue of a Broken Sword) Location
Go up the stairs shown in the first image. From here, follow the directions shown in the image above. You will now be in a new room with a set of stairs to your right. Climb these stairs to find the first statue next to another save point.
Second Statue (Statue of a Withered Horse) Location
Head back down to the same corridor you were in earlier. This time, go to the left and exit through the lower gate. The Statue of a Withered Horse will be in this small room.
Third Statue (Statue of Darkness Sealed)
Finally, come back to the starting room, where you found the locked chest. Interact with the statue next to the chest, which is the Statue of Darkness Sealed, to complete this riddle. You will get Tyr’s Armor from this locked chest in the Nameless Ruins of Final Fantasy Resonance. You can use this gear if it is better than your current equipment (which it likely is).
You can pair this armor with some Legendary Weapons to make some nice builds, or alternatively, craft some of the best armor by using Adamantite.
