Town Orders in Graveyard Keeper 2 are requests from your fellow townsfolk for supplies. If you are interested, you can take on the role of delivering supplies to help out the town. Basically, you are taking the role of a delivery boy for the entire town. It’s easy to accept a request from the town folks for basically any item, but many players are getting confused about the place to deliver the goods.
This is because the game does have a specific way and time at which you are supposed to take and complete Town Orders in Graveyard Keeper 2. In this article, I have put up the exact way to go about doing just that.
Taking & Completing Town Orders in Graveyard Keeper 2
In the Town Warehouse, you have the option to accept Town Orders by interacting with the board in the top left of the warehouse, as marked with a yellow circle, and the option to complete the orders by interacting with the covered boxes in the room marked with a red circle. This is the only way to complete town orders.
However, along with the place, you also need to take care of one more thing – the time of the day. You can complete orders only when the time is set to the purple sun, as marked with the orange circle on the image.
Also, it will take one full, complete day, before the order is ‘accepted’; after you place the completed goods in the spot marked above. This is a common step that gets missed out, and has caused a lot of players (including yours truly) figuring out what exactly was missing. We are used to getting an immediate confirmation on quest completed once the task is done – but over here, it works a bit differently.
The requests from the town folks will be different, but most of these are repeatable. Every order has a yellow color refresh sign at the bottom-right; this is an indicator that the order is a repeatable action. These orders are the best way to make solid gold. Also, taking and completing urgent orders within the timeline – a week (only applicable to the urgent orders) will net you a more than an average payout from the delivery.
If you are lacking any craftable resources when you are taking on these town requests, I will recommend leaving somebody in charge of taking care of the base. How about a zombie? Make zombies work for your base, and you can do other things while they handle the work operation in Graveyard Keeper 2.
