Challenges add an extra layer of gameplay that helps you carry out the same course of action from a different perspective. In Halloween: The Game, the game does an excellent job of setting up the challenges to get a different type of kill to carry out a scene as it plays out in the movie. It’s a love letter to the fans who want to play as Michael Myers and become a force to reckon with in the town. All the challenges found in each chapter are different; some are easy, while others require a bit of patience and time investment to see them come to fruition.
Here I will be detailing every challenge found in all five chapters in Halloween: The Game. Do note it requires multiple playthroughs for the chapter to get some of them, but you can expect to complete most challenges on a single playthrough.
All Prologue Challenges
The first prologue has around six challenges, which will be a common set of tasks you can expect to run into for all five chapters going forward. I have put out a detailed guide explaining all the ways to complete the prologue challenges and also provided an alternative route to some of them to help you clear them out of the game easily without breaking a sweat. Each chapter also contains Loomis tapes and other recordings; make sure to grab them before jumping to the next one.
All Chapter 1 Challenges

| Kill Everyone Inside the Rabbit in Red | Pretty straight and simple; just kill everyone inside the Rabbit in Red bar. |
| Use shove to stumble a Biker off balance | Outside Rabbit in Red, you will find bikers wearing leather jackets. Use the shove mechanics to push them off. |
| Kill any target with the Broken Pool Cue | You will find the Pool Cue just lying around inside Rabbit in Red. Just grab one off the floor and start hitting everyone inside. |
| Execute a Biker with a context execution | The best place to do it will be at the Rabbit in Red bar; perform an environment kill on a biker after grabbing them. |
| Kill any target with a thrown cleaver | A cleaver is typically located in the kitchen area; just grab one and throw it at anyone. If you want to get it done quickly, I would recommend aiming for the enemy’s head. |
| Kill three Residents in the Chapter | You will find many common characters in residential buildings in the area going about their day; they just ruin their lives by performing an execution or just simply take them out with a melee weapon. |
All Chapter 2 Challenges

| Execute Rachel using an environmental kill | You will find her in the cemetery; just grab and execute any of the tombstones in the area to complete the challenge. [Quick kill doesn’t count; the execution method must be environmental] |
| Grab and execute Slab while he’s peeing. | You will find Slab in the cemetery urinating on a tree. Make sure to grab him and perform the execution before he stops peeing. It requires a bit of stalking to perform the execution. |
| Temple Stab Eric in the hardware Store Stockroom. | Grab Eric and take him to the hardware Store Stockroom; here, perform the environmental kill on the blue cupboard next to the radio. |
| Kill all 3 of Rachel’s friends. | Just kill Muck, Jax, and Slab. |
| Complete the chapter without alerting anyone. | Complete the entire chapter without getting caught by anyone’s sight. A separate playthrough is perfect for completing the challenge. |
All Chapter 3 Challenges

| Use the Campfire kill to execute Jennifer | Head to the camp south of the map, grab Jennifer, drag her to the campfire, and then execute on the fire spot. [Get it to Stalk Lv. 3 or 2] |
| Use the weight bench kill to execute Thomas. | You will find Thomas at the top of the map, working out in his garage. Grab him and then perform the execution on the Barbell Press in the garage. [You must have Stalk Lv. 3 on Thomas] |
| Use the Motorcycle Kill to execute Marcus. | After the cutscene with Marcus is over, wait until he moves outside and walks to his motorcycle. Grab him as he gets closer to his motorcycle and perform an execution on him with his bike. [Stalk Lv. 3 is required] |
| Kill both Gloria and Keith | After killing Marcus, head back into the house he was in; here you will find Gloria. Perform an execution or just simply kill her to complete the challenge. You will find Keith in the same house as Thomas. You can kill Thomas after Keith or vice versa. |
| Kill 3 targets with a Wood-Axe. | You will find the Axe near the campfire; use the Killer Sense to spot it. Use it to kill any three targets. |
| Kill all Residents in the neighborhood, | You must kill every resident in the neighbourhood, and you will have to kill way too many here. Use the ability to highlight the house so you can track down the residents and go for the kill. |

| Strangle Annie in the Car | * Lock the Laundry Room door so Annie escapes from the window. * She will try to get into her car, but she won’t have the car keys with her, so she will walk back to the house and come back to the car in front of the garage. Here, sneak into the backside of the car to strangle Annie. [You must head inside the backseat of the car to perform the strangulation on Annie, who will be behind the wheel.] |
| Pin Bob to the Wall in the Kitchen | After both Bob and Lynda make out, Bob will head to the kitchen, grabbing beer from the fridge. This is our chance to get the kill on the Meticulous Pin, which is a cupboard by the door in the kitchen. After pinning him on the wall, take his corpse and put it next to Lynda’s dead corpse. [You must have Stalk Lv. 3 on Bob to perform the execution] |
| Kill Lynda with a telephone while wearing the Sheet | After killing Bob, take his glasses and head upstairs, and grab the sheet on the bed. Put both of them to look like a ghost. Now head into Lynda’s room and perform the execution with the telephone. [You must have Stalk Lv. 3 on Lynda to perform the execution] |
| Kill a resident with a Bloodthirsty execution | Just perform a bloodthirsty execution on any of the residents found in the area. Before thinking about taking any of the challenges listed above, first make sure to fill up the bloodthirsty meter by killing as many residents in the area. |
| Fully stalk Bob and Lynda while they make out in the living room. | Once you get this objective, go downstairs and hide in the closet. Peek through the gaps to improve the stalk on both of them. Both will be on the couch making out; once the scene is over, both Bob and Lynda will move to different parts of the room. |
| Complete the Chapter matching the film’s plot. | Scene #1 -Kill the Resident with a bloodthirsty execution Scene #2 – Kill the dog outside the Laundry Room Scene #3 – Lock the Laundry Room so Annie can’t escape from the window Scene #4– Once Annie gets the Car keys, strangle her in the car Scene #5 – Stalk both Lynda and Bob through the closet. Scene #6 – Kill Bob in the kitchen, take his glasses and wear the sheet found upstairs, and then kill Lynda. Scene #7 – Now move both Bob and Lynda’s corpses in Lynda’s room to shock Laurie. Scene #8 – Once Lynda sees the body, show up behind her and grab her throat, but don’t kill; instead, let her go. Scene #9 – She will jump out of the window and make a run for the street. All you have to do is follow her as she runs to a different house. Scene #10 – Get inside the house, and you will find her hiding in the closet; open the door to the closet, and she will make a bolt to the upper floor and hide in the bedroom closet. Scene #11 – Head upstairs, get to the bedroom, open the door to the closet, and grab her. That’s it. |
All Chapter 5 Challenges

| Use Blackout to disable 2 cop flashlights at once | Wait until two cops are close to one another, pop the reality tear to drain the flashlight on both cops. |
| Kill a Cop with a Pitchfork Execution | You will find the Pitchfork lying on the wall, next to the yellow car found near the starting location. Grab the tool and then kill any cop by performing the execution with the pitchfork. [You can also throw the pitchfork for an instant kill, but it’s not 100% guaranteed.] |
| Kill at least 3 other Residents before escaping | Head into resident buildings before completing the chapter. You must hit three buildings in the area to kill 3 residents before escaping the chapter. |
| Fully stalk any police in the Wallace’s house | This one is pretty straight and simple; just stalk the cops inside Wallace’s house. |
| Escape without Loomis detecting you. | Just fill up your Bloodthirst meter by stalking and escape to hit one of the three endings in the game. It will be easier if you don’t kill anyone in this section; just rely on stalking and then make a bolt to the exit. [You can get detected by other cops in the area; the main target is Loomis. Don’t let him spot you anywhere on the map.] |
| Destroy any police car before you escape. | Just hit the car with any melee weapon, or just throw the weapon at the car to wreck the car. You must destroy at least one car before escaping. |
