Cerydra is a powerful 5-star Support in Honkai: Star Rail who can buff characters that rely on their Skill ability to deal damage. The buffs she provides are very high, which primarily include Crit DMG, one of the most important stats for DPS units in the game.
The problem is that Cerydra is very limited in the kind of characters she can buff. This makes her a very niche support and only usable in very specific situations. However, within her niche, she is the best option you can go for, so she is worth pulling if you have the right characters available in your account. Her team building is a bit difficult, but if you’re willing to invest in her heavily, she is worth the pull.
Cerydra Premium Team In Honkai: Star Rail
Cerydra’s Premium Team consists of Phainon, Sunday, and Huohuo. This team is extremely powerful with Cerydra and Sunday providing multiple Crit buffs to Phainon, who is arguably the strongest DPS unit in the game. The characters, along with their roles, have been listed in the following table.

Phainon is the primary DPS in the team, who has absurd damage scaling. Additionally, he relies on his Skill to deal damage, which makes him a perfect fit to be paired alongside Cerydra. Make sure to put Phainon in the first position so that he can make the most out of Lushak, the Sunken Seas buff, which is part of Cerydra’s best build in the game.
Cerydra and Sunday are the support in this team who will keep stacking their abilities on Phainon. Both Cerydra and Sunday provide Crit DMG boosts, which enhance Phainon’s already impressive damage to massive levels. In fact, Cerydra’s Crit DMG goes up to 360%, which means Phainon will be destroying bosses even in endgame content such as Memory of Chaos.
Huohuo is the primary healer for this team, but she also plays a very important role. As it happens, Huohuo can provide ATK buffs, which are essential for both Phainon and Cerydra. Additionally, she can cleanse debuffs, which makes her invaluable in endgame content.
Cerydra General Team In Honkai: Star Rail
Cerydra’s General Team consists of Anaxa, Sunday, and Huohuo. In this team, the only difference is that you are replacing Phainon with Anaxa, and even though the damage output isn’t as impressive, it’s still good for endgame content. Cerydra and Sunday will be buffing Anaxa, similar to how they function in the Premium Team. The massive Crit DMG buffs are quite valuable for Anaxa, even though he doesn’t scale as well as Phainon. Regardless, you shouldn’t have too many issues in endgame content.
The good part is that Cerydra will allow Anaxa to use his Skill twice. Since Anaxa is reliant on his Skill ability, this makes it easy to deal high damage to enemies. Finally, Huohuo will cleanse the team, provide ATK buffs, and above all, provide heals to keep the party alive in endgame content.
Cerydra F2P Team In Honkai: Star Rail
Cerydra’s F2P team consists of 4-star Dan Heng, Traiblazer, and Lynx. Similar to Hysilen’s best team comp, there aren’t many good F2P options for Cerydra. The characters and the roles they play in this team have been listed in the following table.

Dan Heng is the best F2P option you can have when in this team, since he is among the few 4-star units that rely on the Skill ability. Dan Heng can use his Skill ability twice in this team, which helps deal high damage to enemies. Additionally, his ultimate ability also hits decently enough to take down mid-tier bosses and enemies in the game.
Cerydra and Ice Trailblazer are the support units who will provide Crit DMG buffs and Action Forward. The Crit buffs from Cerydra don’t change even in a F2P setup. This means you can increase it to about 360 percent, as long as you maintain the 4000 ATK mark.
Lynx is a decent healer and probably the best one you can use in a F2P setup. Her heals are quite good, but most importantly, she can cleanse everyone in the party. As such, she will be valuable in endgame content, but you need to make sure that her ultimate recharges fast in Honkai: Star Rail.
