These days you don’t see a clan feature in multiplayer games but Spectre Divide aims to bring it back and they call it Crews. How To Join Crews In Spectre Divide
Once you complete your first three matches in Spectre Divide, you’ll be automatically assigned to a random Crew alongside other new players. This Crew becomes your initial team, ready to compete and climb the Crew leaderboards. Crews can have up to 60 players
However, you cannot create Crews as they are premade and are based on your performance. You will shift crews constantly and move up to crews higher in the leaderboard as you get traded. Staying in high-ranking crews requires you to earn a minimum amount of points for that Crew. And if you fail to meet the minimum requirement for your crew level results in you being traded for a player in a lower-ranking crew.
How to Join Friend’s Crew
You can join your friend’s Crew in Spectre Divide by pressing “View Crew” and then “Join Crew” on your friend’s profile if they are on your Steam friends list. However, you will still need to meet the minimum Player Points requirement to join, the higher the Division of the Crew, the higher this requirement will be.
How Do You Earn Points For Crews In Spectre Divide
Crew Points
Each week, Crews in Spectre Divide engage in exciting competitions, vying for supremacy and the coveted top spot on the leaderboard. A crew is placed on the leaderboard based on how many points the crew has scored for the current competition. Each Division competition lasts for one week after which the Crew points are reset and the next competition begins.
Here’s where your individual contributions make a difference by simply playing the game. Each match will award you with Crew points but they can vary from anywhere between +8 to +23. There are many factors that can increase or decrease the points you gain like winning or losing the match, playing ranked mode, playing with friends, etc.
Player Points
Crews in Spectre Divide have anywhere from 5-8 Player Score Slots based on where a Crew ranks. These slots are filled by your highest score earned for the week. This encourages players to invite more people into the Crew to fill the Player Score Slots as these get added to your total Crew points at the end of the division competition.
Wildcard Slots
You’ve earned as many Crew points as possible and filled out all your Player Score Slots but yet other Crews in Spectre Divide seem to have way more points. The answer to this mystery lies within Wildcards. When the highest match scores earned are not being used as Player Points, they start to fill the Wildcard slots instead.
As an individual, you can fill out 15 Wildcard score slots until they are all full. Once the Crew Wildcard slots are full, the only way to earn more is to earn higher match scores than previous Wildcard scores. This will replace those lower scores with the higher ones.
All Divisions in Spectre Divide
Crews in Spectre Divide cooperate and fight to move up Divisions in the League. The League consists of seven Divisions that are capped at 20 Crews for each except for the starting Challenger Division.
Here is a list of all seven Divisions for Crews in Spectre Divide:
