The Golden Beetle is a common shadow found in the Yabbashah Block of Tartarus from Floor 76 to 117. This shadow is of the Emperor Arcana and is quite pesky due to their single and multi target damage skills which can drain HP quite easily if not dealt with promptly. However, there are easy ways to deal with these shadows if one knows their weakness.
How To Defeat The Golden Beetle Shadows In Persona 3 Reload
Like most shadows in the game, the Golden Beetle too has its weaknesses. However, you are better off not using any Strike or Ice-based skills. You would also benefit from knowing that this shadow repels Light based Attacks. That being said, there are two ways in which you can easily drain the HP bar of the Golden Beetle in Persona 3 Reload.

Using Darkness Attacks
Darkness is the Golden Beetle’s weakness. There are tons of Personas which you can get that can use Darkness attacks. One of them is Gurulu. However, if you want to go one step ahead, resort to Pale Rider. The Pale Rider Persona has tons of innate Dark skills that can crush any Yabbashah enemy you encounter. After knocking the Golden Beetle down, you can inflict more pain with the ‘All Out Attack.’
Multi Slash/Pierce Attacks
If you do not have a Persona with Dark attacks, consider using Slash or Pierce attacks that strike two or more times. This will whittle down the HP bar of the Golden Beetle and it might even land a critical hit which can result in an opportunity to use the ‘All Out Attack.’
