All Hallows’ Eve is yet another new quest added to Fallout 4 following its next-gen update. This quest, as its name suggests, not only brings the excitement of Halloween to the players but also rewards them with beautiful Halloween-themed decorations for their settlement. But, each part of the All Hallows’ Eve mission could get a bit complicated if you’re following the right instructions.

Completing All Hallows’ Eve in Fallout 4
To complete the All Hallows’ Eve quest in Fallout 4, you need to clear all 8 stages of the mission including going through the “New England Technorat Society” door inside the Harbormaster Hotel. These stages will lead you toward fighting some ghouls while escaping toxic gas, finding a door password, and finally disabling the control terminals for the gas.
The All Hallows’ Eve mission starts automatically if you have a high-level character in the game following the next-gen update. After that, all you need to do is listen to the Mysterious Signal on your Radio and go to the Harbormaster Hotel to begin your adventure.

Feral Ghouls and Gas Stage
You will hounded by Feral Ghouls shortly after you enter New England Technocrat Society in All Hallows’ Eve. The room will also start leaking deadly gas, so all you need to do is head upstairs and start taking down the Ghouls one by one.
The ghouls are also lootable and may carry resources worth looking out for. After looting, you can head down the hallway in the back of the room on the ground floor to start the next part of the quest.
Finding the Door Password
At the end of the hallway, you’ll encounter a door that requires a password to get through. The password is a four-digit combination that has something to do with the objects in the four rooms that precede the locked door. You can go into each of the numbered rooms and count the number of items displayed in each. Here’s the list:
- Room 1: Specimen Jars – 4
- Room 2: Skull Candles – 3
- Room 3: Teddy Bears – 4
- Room 4: Jack-o-Lanterns – 6
Once all rooms have been searched, go to the locked door and enter the password: 4346 to move on to the next stage.
Shutting off the Gas
Finally, the Control Terminals Stage can be completed by disabling the AI control system of the hotel. Simply navigate to the System Controls and choose the Disable option to stop the gas. You can also unlock a safe next to the control system and collect the De-Capitalist Helmet.
Remember to pick up the “Picket Fences Halloween Special” book from the desk to unlock all the Halloween decorations in the game before heading out.
