When you are progressing in Phantom Blade Zero, you will come across quirky characters with usual to uncommon requests. Our job then quickly turns into finding these items from the most unusual places in the game world without any navigation or clues to find them; it all comes down to exploration to come across these items in the game. In Crimson Forest, you will meet a man named Quick Hand Zhang, who puts us on a quest to recover three relics from three different places for him.
In this guide, I will walk you through all three areas to find the three relics to complete the objective for Quick Hand Zhang. You don’t want to miss this quest; completing it will award you with Flying Dagger, a throwing knife in Phantom Blade Zero.
All Quick Hand Zhang Relics Locations in Phantom Blade Zero

In the Crimson Forest, you will find a man named Quick Hand Zhang, marked at the location above. On your way into his lair, you will find a sword glowing outside. Don’t hang out in the spot for too long; you are not going to get the sword. Get inside, and then talk to the Quick Hand Zhang sitting on his chair.
- #1 | Sect Leader’s Snuff Bottle
- #2 | Bloodstained Seal
- #3 | Ancient Crossbow
Our task is to find all three relics in Crimson Forest, around Thieve’s Camp. All three are found inside a treasure chest with a green hue coming off them. Once you are near one of the chest’s spots, you can use the green hue from the chest to track them down.
#1 | Sect Leader’s Snuff Bottle

First, get the Crimson Forest Tunnel Crank on the spot after the encounter against the Maskwalker Butcher boss. Then use the “Crimson Forest Tunnel Crank” to reveal the route to the locked door near the Outlaws Trap bell. After using the crank on the locked mechanism, open the door on the ground. Once it’s fully opened, drop down and then take the wooden bridge to the right to start the enemy encounter.

Defeat them and loot the spot on the right; you will find Preservation Talisman Fragment II and Preservation Jar. Loot both of them before moving up, and you will find the green treasure chest at the end. Interact with the chest to find the item “Sect Leader’s Snuff Bottle” inside.
#2 | Bloodstained Seal

This one is located inside the cave, not too far from the Quick Hand Zhang spot on the map. It’s located just a bit north of the “Thieves’ Camp“. While it may look easy and quick, you will have to take a long detour and enter the cave to reach the spot on the map. Inside the cave, you will come across a similar green-hued treasure chest near an enemy encounter with a couple of dogs.

Defeat the enemy and the dogs to loot the treasure chest, tucked in the corner to the left, as marked on the image above, to find the Bloodstained Seal relic.
#3 | Ancient Crossbow

The third and final relic is located inside the dungeon at the Thieve’s Camp (marked on the spot on the map above), which can only be unlocked by using the “Thieve’s Camp Dungeon Key“. The difficult part about obtaining the third relic is the key itself; follow the guide to grab this first and then head to the dungeon in Crimson Forest.

Head inside the dungeon, and you will find an NPC, Gui the Night Raven, lying on the floor to your left. If you already have “A Healer’s Mercy” side quest active, then talk to him and hand over the Yu’er’s life-saving pill to help recover the thief from danger. Then head through the hole on the right to find the third and final relic for Quick Hand Zhang.
Now that we have all three relics, head back to Quick Hand Zhang, talk to him, and hand over all the relics to get the “Flying Dagger” as a reward for our quest.
