With every Destiny 2 campaign come several hidden items and chests that you can find throughout the new locations. One such elusive Prismatic Ability is the Facet of Solitude in Destiny 2: The Final Shape. Not only is the chest that contains this fragment in a hidden and out-of-sight place, but it also requires a Memory fragment. So let’s find out how you can find the Facet of Solitude.
How to Unlock and Get Facet of Solitude in Destiny 2
The Prismatic Ability called Facet of Solitude can be found in a hidden chest at the corner of the map at the Impasse location in Destiny 2. Before that, you will need to find the “Memory: Impassive Darkness” fragment, which drops from the new darkness chest near Zavala’s house. You can also randomly get it in any chest.
Once you have the “Memory: Impassive Darkness” fragment, it will point you to a general location in The Impasse. Here is how you can find the Facet of Solitude in this location:
- From The Impasse Landing Zone, head towards the area marked on your map
- When you enter the compound with the white floor, head left where you will spot two gray statues
- Head behind the second statue furthest from you
- Go to the edge of the platform and follow it toward the left side
- At the corner, you will see the chest below on a small ledge, drop down here and collect the chest which will give you the Facet of Solitude

Keep in mind that you cannot just go to this location directly before finding the “Memory: Impassive Darkness” fragment from the chest near Zavala’s House. This is required for the chest with the Facet of Solitude to spawn in Destiny 2.
