Coca Leaves can’t be directly bought, they need to be harvested from the Coca Plant in Schedule 1. And the only way to get a Coca Plant is by obtaining a single Coca Seed. Here in this guide, we will look at how you can unlock Coca Seed in the game and produce Coca Leaves for your business.
Unlocking Coca Seeds

Salvador Moreno is the NPC you need to get your hands on some Coca Leaves. Unlocking him will not be easy; compared to Albert Hoover and Shirley Watts, Salvador will be the most difficult dealer to unlock in Schedule 1.
Where to Find: You can find Salvador Moreno down the Docks. But he will stay locked until you fulfill the requirement to unlock.
Unlock Requirement: You need to make progress in the story until you unlock the Docks region, the fourth chapter in the game. Here you will want to make friends with Mac Cooper and Javier Pérez. Befriending these two NPCs will help you unlock Salvador. You need to sell both Mac Cooper and Javier Perez a good amount of drugs to earn their trust to be in a friendship with them.
Once you have reached the successful friendship status with Javier Perez and Mac Cooper, they will give you a call to introduce you to their friend, who happens to be Salvador Moreno.
Buying Coca Seeds
Once unlocked, you can buy Coca Seeds from him to make the products. You can’t directly buy Coca Leaves from him, he will only sell you the seed. This means you must grow the seed to produce Coca Leaves. A single piece of Coca Seed will cost you around $80.
Harvest Coca Leaves

- First, buy the Coca Seeds from Salvador, then plant the seeds to grow the plant.
- Now it’s time to wait; once the plant is fully grown, you can interact with the plant to harvest its leaves. A single Coca Plant will give out 9 Coca Leaves.
Tips for Growing Coca Leaves
You can always make the Coca Leaves better in the game to sell them for an astronomical amount.
- Use the Dryer Racks to dry the leaves. The quality of the leaves will come down to the time they spend drying.
- Buying Glow Lights will also help with the harvesting. You can buy it from Socar at the Warehouse.
- You can also add Red Fertilizer to increase the rate of yield.
